Thanks for all the info on here - I was just checking to see if anyone else has trouble w/ the OTX ones not crediting - I've had 2 this week not credit, including the one from yesterday. Now, at least I'll try clearing cookies every time to see if that fixes it.
I've had several this month not credit - including the one tonight! I don't take any surveys through other sites so I have no idea what is going on! Very frustrating.
Kind of strange. We actually had some of our biggest totals this week in terms of the number of people in one day who got credits. I'll make sure that it isn't anything on our end.
I've had 3 not credit this month including yesterdays.
Tonight equals 4 for me :( Oh well, at least most of them have credited.Quote:

I took 1 last night that did not credit. But the .85 one this AM did! So, I am happy that one did at least, but bummed about yesterdays.

I was doing an OTX and it redirected me to a different window. It said to close the original window when the new one opened. I did finish the survey and it took me to AMP but I don't know what will happen.
It was about cell phone/MP3/digital cameras.
I know I have to have the same person (me, in my case) doing the daily and super member surveys, but is this also the rule for the OTX. I'm consistently getting the same survey, which I don't qualify for, over and over. I'm pretty sure one of my sons would qualify. Is this allowed?
i was looking through some offers and i saw the MTC/OTX survey listed and it said i hadn't received credit for today, but i've already taken one and received credit. is this just a glitch or am i eligible again for some reason? :confused:
I saw something like that too - but I didn't worry, as I had already received credit, too. Maybe it just hasn't changed in the offers section for some reason. I'd bet if you tried to take another one, OTX would say you had already taken the maximum allowed!
I did the same one about digital camera's and MP3's and it should have been an .85 one and have not gotten credit for it. I suppose I wont get credit for it will I?:confused:

what time did you finish it and did you go through all the offers from amp? if you finished it after 6 it should credit at 7. sometimes it might credit after the second hour (if you finished it at 5) sometimes not. it just depends. i have found otx surveys have their own rules for when and if they credit so you never really know. i will however keep my fingers crossed for you that you get the 85 cents. try to keep smiling.:sunshine:
:(I did it yesterday morning sometime...And I don't recall if i went thru all the offers which I normally don't do and get credit. Do you think it could be because I used the link from my email account?
i don't see why that would make a difference as the email said to use the link in the email to do the survey so i really don't know why you did not get credit for it. the only thing i can say is try again and see if you get credit for it this time. i am truly sorry that you did not get your 85 cents.:sunshine:
The problem is that the same person has to take ALL otx surveys. That doesn't have to be the same person who takes your daily surveys and your SM surveys but it has to be the same person taking them all the time. If you have already taken OTX surveys since the change over and recieved credit for one then I wouldn't change up. Just to clarify there can be three different people taking the three types of surveys but those three people have to use different email addresses and demographics and they have to continue to be the only ones to take the surveys they agreed to take so no swapping up to get more survyes.
Oh Geez! I just read this post and am really worried/confused. :eek: I know the same person has to take the SM consistently and I know the same person has to take the Daily survey. I've been so careful since the "Banning" not to mix them up. During that time, I remember reading about the MyThoughtsCount/OTX and never saw anything about the same person having to take that survey all the time. So, sometimes I took it, sometimes DH took it and who knows just how many emails I used. I never, however, took the same survey twice.
Same here Jamie, I never remember hearing anything about OTX and even since the ban it goes between DH and I and I haven't had any problem. I just use my email addy and he uses his. But I also always put my email addy in from day 1 with OTX before they required it? I didn't think OTX followed the same rules as GF only that you can't (which OTX hasn't let me ) take the same survey more then once.Quote:

Don't worry too much about the OTX ones. I am sure that Tricia will post a clarification for us about wether or not that one can be taken by more than one person or using more than one email. So far, we haven't heard anything about the OTX Surveys. So my main advice would be just to use caution and not go crazy. If you trade with someone on your house every now and again or use 2-3 emails in a month, you should be okay. But if you start changing your demographics multiple times each day just to get a survey or using multiple email addresses to do the same survey more than once, they will catch on and we will all be in trouble.
For the last 3 months, DH and I have had our own separate addys and info for the OTX, and I guess I thot that since there never seemed to be an issue with this, that OTX didn't mind. I thot maybe their main thing was that only 1 survey per IP address be taken, perhaps. It does help that if I can get none with my info that it works with DH info. -- Seems that OTX has made some changes recently tho, like making the email addys mandatory. I hope that they will continue to allow 2 addys.
Thanks for the clarification, Tricia. I do the GF surveys and DH does the OTX. Once in a great while, if he is having terrible luck, I will do an OTX. We each only use our own separate e-mail addys. I use the same addy for GF and whenever I do an occasional OTX survey. With this system, it doesn't seem to let either of us repeat a survey, so I don't feel like I'm cheating the system. We do get dry spells where we can't get one for a couple days (usually on weekends), but then they load new ones and we get lucky again. No matter what, each of us always uses the same demographics.
Thanks for the clarification. If I would have to pick, DH will do the OTX... he seems to get more than I do on there.

Thanks so much for the clarification. It's great news to hear that my young adult son and my teen can take these. Back before Greenfield limited us to one email, I could usually get one of them qualified when I couldn't. Plus they both like to do the surveys and take each question very seriously!
can't get one today...i don't drink alcohol and i don't play video games, so i guess i'm out of luck, lol.
Is there a link up today for these? I do not see one in my offer list, but I do see a couple new offers. I wouldn't be able to take the survey till later today anyways.
there's a daily link up on the 2nd page of the paid surveys section. i took one, but didn't get credit at the top of the hour.
finally got one and finished it about 11:45-:46, but it didn't credit at noon. guess i lost out.
today the otx link did not dropped down into recent offers, so I went to links and did it, it did have a pending tab, but it would not go into pending mode, with either browser. I finished it at 12:40p did not credit at 1p. That must be something wrong today, anybody not have it dropped down today? Tahnsk for any help. I am confused today.

You can actually use the same OTX link over and over again now. It will allow you to get a credit every day. :)
mine's not in pending either. i went back to the listing and hit "move to pending" again, but it still won't move to the pending list. not sure if this has anything to do w/ the survey not crediting at the top of the hour, but something is wrong somewhere.
Thanks for your answer, I think you are right something is wrong today. It happened before tht mine did not credit, then later in the day it did credit. Lets keep :sunshine:our fingers crossed.
