What's a TN Christmas without boiled custard? My daddy used to make it, every year, but now we just but it.
For you Yankees, it is sort of like Egg Nog, but we cook it to almost boiling and stir the fire out of it to keep it from sticking. Then, we cool it down in a bowl of ice water and continue stirring. Refrigerate when done. It is easier to just go to the store and buy it.

I'm partial to Eye of the Storm a blush wine from a local vinyard.
-
I would have to say White Russians or pineapple juice and coconut rum....yum yum.
-
Mine is real easy I only drink it at the holidays: Hot Baily's Irish Cream.
-
I used to enjoy, make and serve many "Pointsettas".
Just like a Mimosa. Champange and Triple sec, but instead of Orange Juice, use a splash of Cranberry Juice and garnish with 3 cranberries on the cocktail straw/sword.
Looks nice, very festive and Tastes even better!

Love Egg Nog this time of year. It used to be soooo much better before we knew not to eat raw eggs. Now I just buy it ready made at the liquer store. I also enjoy a Black Russian; they seem to warm you from the inside out when you've been out in the cold.

You can't beat egg nog and hot cider.

When we drank alcohol - raspberry vodka with lemonade, or Fuzzy Navels, or rumrunners - ha ha
Now it's Cherry Diet Coke, or Egg Nog if I have some calories to spare, LOL!
