Some surveys are just too long. Some surveys want us to answer 10 pages and have the percentage bar only move a few points over. Some surveys just ask for a bit too much of our time. (and I get far too few of the "5 questions and you're done" surveys to convince my brain that it evens out, LOL)
Not complaining (did enough of that to DS LOL), I'm just sayin'. :)
spent 20 minutes on a survey about computer usage, that just...dead-ended. won't go anywhere. "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable". reported to GF.
ETA: GF now says they are performing system maintenance and to check back in 5 hours, 53 minutes. no DS for me today, i guess. :(
I was doing surveys today and finally was able to get a MyView it was about 45 minutes long all about buying Halloween candy. I finished at 3:35 and no credit has shown up. Are they slow in crediting these days or did I waste my time :(
Little FYI...if you're getting into an SSI and it wants you to install something, and then says that you have to restart firefox...if you have your settings so that your cookies etc will be erased when you close firefox...you're not going to be able to continue with that survey. Which is a bummer, b/c it felt like it was going to be interesting! (so much so that I allowed the install, which I never EVER do!)
Is there a thread somewhere that will explain SH to me? I've signed up and confirmed my account.
I did one survey for them-but I've never received credit. Either here on SR or in my SH acct.
In order to get SR credit, I try and complete those surveys listed under "based on previous answers, you qualify....."-those are the ones that will get credited here on SR?
NOT those listed further down on the page...."you may also qualify...."

Aside from entering my demographic info, I don't think I've ever had to sign up with survey head or confirm an account.
I just tried SH again. First time I clicked on it, I got the SH regisitration page. Which is what I've always gotten. Clicked out of it.
Went back in again, and got the page that you are talking about-the yellowish page with the demographic info. Filled that out. Got the "routing to survey page" which then routed straight back here to the SR/SH page. I'm assuming that means that they have nothing for me.
At least I know what to look for now. Will keep trying.

UGH! Exact same thing just happened to me! It was very long over 45 minutes. I did get a completion message and said I could get so many myview points. I haven't done surveys in a while. This does not make me want to keep trying.Quote:

Just completed SH, it routing back to their yellow page and then to SR but no credit. :mad: Can't remember the last time that happened.
SCard-i totally feel your pain. the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. completed a sh, got the yellow thank you page and when it went back to sr for some reason it did not credit. so i got off my computer for a little while, tried again later that same day and did finally manage to get one. just take a deep breath, relax and try again in a little while. will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you that you get your sh today. keep smiling.:sunshine:
DS survey about investing first it froze on me before the commercials. SO I restarted and got completely to the end and the last page came up as an error!!!!!! ARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!! :computer::computer:
OMgoodness-I just completed my first MV survey, got all the way to the end, clicked on "submit survey" and got a "we are experiencing technical difficulties...." message.:computer: Well, THAT doesn't inspire me to try more MV surveys.....Bummer.
UPDATE: Well, I take back what I said above-the MV DID credit. Nice!
I just took a SH but it had a weird completion page at the the end, not the usual. No credit, so I guess I will try again later.
I haven't receive my GF Daily credits for 4 days now (11/5, 11/6, 11/7, 11/8) - anyone else having this problem?
The GF DS credits the next day, I think either at 9:30 or 12:30, except on the weekends. So your DS from Fri, Sat and Sun show up on Mon.Quote:

And just an update on the GF "no surveys available" that had been happening the last couple of weeks.....This morning when I tried, I got the "old" message about "try another survey"-so it is back to the way it was. Yay!
Is it just me or are the surevys getting hard to get?? I have tried everyday for almost each and have only gotten a few this month....

it is definately getting harder to get them.........I actually thought it was because so many of us were taking them, so I'm a little suprised to see Tricia say the numbers were down. :confused: the GF DS used to be a guarantee....now it's just as uncertain as the other ones.
and fuel to the fire.....I just completed a SH, got the yellow congrats page, routed back to SR but didn't credit!! I don't think i've ever had it NOT credit when it did route back. :computer: off to try some more....but it's slim pickings today!!!
