sometimes that happens with your age....i think you're supposed to put the age you'll be on your birthday this year, whether it's already passed or not, b/c mtc/otx just goes by the year and assumes everyone's already had a birthday. at least, i think that's what i remember someone advising-if i'm remembering those posts incorrectly, i hope someone will post and correct me.
I FINALLY got an OTX and got all the way through it - a very long one about internet providers and got to the age bracket question and didn't put what age I will be this year ... and got kicked out. :computer: I should have remembered, but it's been so long since I got an OTX that I had forgotten ...
Ok I just spent about 20 minutes doing a OTX survey about a cable provider, answered a ton of questions and had to watch 2 commercials, gets to what I am thinking is the end, asks for my age then goes to a survey fail page and asks if i want to try a different survey? Why did this happen i just wasted 20 minutes to not qualify?
i'm so sorry that happened to you, but it must've been some sort of glitch on their end b/c i did the same survey about 3 hours ago and i got to the end & got credit on the hour w/ no problems.
OTX has a glitch that calculates the age you will be this year, whether or not you have had your birthday. When it asks for your age, put in the age you will turn this year, even if it hasn't happened yet.Quote:

I just got OTX about speed boosters for internet provider. This was my second in a row. I was starting to loose hope. So much so that DH gave me .75.:)

A funny thing - yesterday I had to wait 25 hours after the hour my OTX credited to take one again. Just on a whim, I tried for one today, just 24 hours exactly after I started the one from yesterday, and it worked. So I didn't have to wait 24 hours after the hour it credited today, only 23. Funny, but fine with me!
I had been on a very late nite, ok 9 pm schedule but yesterday I just had to go to bed.
So I skipped OTX and took it this morning. Now I am back to the early morning and hopefully going to keep it that way. I just did a nice short one on satellite radio.
I can't get an OTX to save my life. Started trying yesterday evening, couldn't get in and I've been trying all morning to no avail.
I'm sure I'll get one at 9PM ensuring my late night, bleary-eyed, exhausted surveying. :p
I finally got an OTX at about 9 PM last night. I got through the whole thing but it has not credited yet. I hope it does eventually credit! I stayed on the computer way to long last night!
I'm in some kind of OTX loop and can no longer qualify for their surveys. For two-three weeks, I've been getting a video game one that kicks me out after 10-12 screens -- I started just closing when I got the first question. Now, I'm getting a satelite radio one that I don't qualify for. When I get booted out of it, I'm routed to the video game one.:rotfl:
When I don't get these surveys, I get that I have too many in their system -- odd since I have NO completions in their system at the moment.
Any ideas how to fix this problem? I was thinking that we might switch surveytakers since we apparently can do that with OTX. One of my sons might qualify for the videogame one.
I have yet to get the right answer for the video game question or the right number of running shoes I buy in a year. However, I did just get one on a fashion store.
A word of advice, Moosebrains . . . You're not supposed to look for the "right" answer to get qualified. You're supposed to give honest answers, which means the answer to how many pairs of shoes and whether you play a video game should be essentially the same every time. (Since we all do lots of surveys, I understand that minor details may vary.)
After "surveygate," most of us are trying to be really careful about consistency so that Sunshine Rewards doesn't get in trouble for having invalid surveys.

is it me or otx? for the last couple of days i have had no problems at all getting an otx survey. now today, i started one a little after 1, got kicked out of it as i did not qualify and when i pressed do another survey i was told i had exceeded my limit for the day. i just tried again and got the same message. i have not done an otx survey since yesterday so i do not understand why i am having this problem now (it has been over 25 hours since i did the last one and 24 hours since it credited). help.:confused::computer:
Anyone else having serious problems with OTX this morning? I keep getting an Unexpected error. I did get into one mobile phone survey that took me over an hour and then got the error :mad:. It still takes forever for any page from them to load!!!

I'm in, doing one and didn't get an error, but then again I knew I couldn't get one until after 1pm today.
Couldn't get in at all earlier today. Just finished one on enviromental issues though so it appears to be working now.
Just finished one on cell phones. Hope it credits!

My DS8 just completed one on a new video game.
Now he wants to buy it. :headache: I'll probably hear about it every day along with the other 100 things he needs and can't live without. :rotfl:
i took an otx survey last night a little after 6 and i have been trying since 6 tonite to get another one. first it said to come back in an hour so i went back and tried again at 7 and it said that i had exceeded my limit. so i waited another hour and tried again at 8 and i got the same message again. last night was the latest i had ever taken an otx survey as prior to that i had been getting them in the afternoon. i don't understand why i am having so many problems today getting an otx survey as it has been relatively easy the last week and a half. sorry for my rantings but i am just a little frustrated by it all (please forgive me).:confused::computer:
Sometimes you just have to walk away and say it's not worth it - it's only .75. I got an OTX survey today for the first time in two days. Some days you win some and some days you lose (or just miss out on) some!! I know it sometimes sucks but it's just surveys!! :hugs:
thanks - i needed that reminder. i guess i should obsess about more important things that are going on in my life right now and not worry so much about a 75 cent survey. it does suck not being able to get one today but there is always tomorrow. again, thanks for the encouragement and the hugs. i really needed it.:thanks:

try a different e-mail address, if you have one. otx isn't quite as particular about that as greenfield. i wouldn't make a habit of it, but since it was a glitch on THEIR end, i'd give it a shot this time. after you clear cookies again, of course.
there is an otx survey about beer. it is about an hour long, tried to take it last week, got through all of it, said thank you for your time, and said press here to submit, then rcvd an unexpected error msg. thought maybe they fixed the survey, got the same one yesterday and again after hour, exact same spot got same error msg. it is a long, boring one...beware.

I have taken OTX surveys for 4 of the last 5 days. I have completed each survey, got the the thank you screen but I only got crdeit for one of the surveys! :computer: I know its only $.75 but some of the surveys took about an hour to complete! After this happened 2 times I deleted cookies, the next day I got credit for that days survey. Last night I completed another one and didn't get credit! :confused: What can I do?
I just got re-routed to another survey through OTX, It looks JUST LIKE Greenfield's beginning questions that we fill out on the Daily Survey page... I don't think I want to take that survey because I don't want to be burned with greenfield... .. Can OTX have Greenfield Surveys?????
UPDATE: I went back in to take another survey, since I shut this one down... It said I reached the maximum amount of surveys... I haven't done an OTX since Saturday!! I'll try again later
