Posts about My Thought Counts/OTX Surveys Pls Read 1st Post!

I was reading to see if anyone knew how the surveys fall into place so you can do them, after 24 hrs past. I finished one yesterday at 10:30 still has not dropped in. Anyone know how this works?

I read alot of problems with OTX. My suggestion is do not do them in Firefox. I switched to IE for OTX and I very seldom have those issues with redirection or error pages. Also you need to use ccleaner.com after every OTX, and AMP that you do. It works the best. If you do not want to download the cleaner, try closing your bowser, clearing cookies and going back into the site. For me the cleaner works the best.

I have not been able to get credit for a OTX survey since I did the AMP one. I have run ccleaner, adware, spybot. Nothing works! Anyone else have this problem??

when did you do the amp survey? as both surveys are run thru otx i can only assume that you would only be able to do one a day and not both. if you have not done an otx survey today, try cleaning out all your cookies and your temp internet files and maybe that will help. keep smiling.:sunshine:

That's odd. I don't know what to try as it seems like you've tried everything I would normally suggest. I haven't had issues since doing AMP but that doesn't mean others aren't in your shoes.

Oh well, thanks anyway. I did the AMP the first day it came out, whenever that was. Win some, lose some!

I haven't had any problems getting OTX after doing AMP. I do run ccleaner multiple times a day.

I'm wondering if maybe some of us have different settings checked off for ccleaner and that's why it is working better for some of us than others. Ccleaner seems to get everything off for me and I rarely have trouble getting credit for offers. I'm going to post the settings I have marked for ccleaner. Hopefully it may help someone out there!

Under "windows" tab:

I have checks by "Internet explorer" --> "Temp internet files", "cookies", "History", "Recently typed urls", "Delete index.datfiles", "last download location:
I do NOT have checks by "autocomplete form history"

I have checks by "Windows Explorer" --> "Recent documents", "Run(in start menu)", "other explorer MRUs"
I do NOT have checks by "Search Autocomplete"

I have checks by "System" --> "Empty recycle bin", "Temp files", "Clipboard", "Memory dumps", Chkdsk file fragments", "windows log files"
I do NOT have checks by "start menu shortcuts" or "desktop shortcuts"

I do NOT have any checks by "Advanced"



I have NO idea if this will help anyone, but like I said, I rarely have crediting issues and this is what I have set.

PLEASE USE THIS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION! I don't know much about computers so I don't want to take any responsibility for messing up anyone else's, LOL! I'm just sharing so maybe someone could find what could be causing any problems.

not to sound totally stupid but where are you finding all this information and how does one get ccleaner. also, how are you able to get an amp and an otx survey as they are both run by otx? i just tried and i got the message that i had reached my limit for the day and the only one i have done today is the amp survey. i am totally confused. please help me.:confused:

I've got a question. I took and got credited for the AMP survey. Yesterday and today after taking the OTX survey when i was done with the survey, i got the thank you page. then it took me to the AMP survey type page with offers to do. I got credit for yesterdays survey. (I'm waiting to see if i get credit for todays) were the surveys supposed to end with AMP offers?

I did the AMP one on Wednesday, and I did get credit for an OTX (mythoughcounts) today. Have had a hard time getting one I haven't had yet but hopefully they'll load more surveys soon.

Mine end like that too. The first one I didn't get credit, but today I did. I don't think the first time finished properly though, like I ran out of available surveys, please try again.

DH got qualified for two different OTX surveys today (at different times, of course). Each was IDENTICAL to two he's had in recent days. He tried to do a little of each of them to make sure it was not just similar, but the first 5 or 6 pages were IDENTICAL. He closed them out and got no survey credits for today. He doesn't put in an e-mail address for them, but I thought that as long as he used the same demographics consistently, it didn't matter. He is the family member for the OTX surveys, I do the Greenfield surveys.
