Was this a survey about yogurt? There are a lot of posts on the "daily survey" thread about people having problems with the yogurt survey.
ETA: I was just going to link the daily survey thread over here, but I see you found it.

Well, at least you got one - i keep getting the "no surveys available" I have tried every hour - nothing. I had Dh try and both grandparents visited after the kids soccer games and nothing. It is hard to believe none of us have one to attempt.
Shirley
If it was the one about yogurt, you are not alone. So frustrating- a lot of us posted about it on the daily survey thread. :(
Ugh, I wish I came here first. I'm in the middle of the yogurt survey. I guess I'm already in it for at least 15 minutes. I guess I'll continue on anyway so that I can join the "got booted out for no good reason" club.:computer:
UPDATE: Ok, I'm officially part of the club now. Apparently, they don't like caucasians. Hmmm.... is this discrimination?:rotfl:
Mike and I are in the "no surveys for you" club. Will try again in a few hours.
Ugh, kicked out of the yogurt survey, immediately went to the appliance survey and got kicked out, and now, NO SURVEYS available. Well, at least I know I won't be getting a survey every day this month early on, lol! It does sort of lift a weight off my shoulders.:rotfl:
As always, I should have come here first. I just got the yogurt one and spent about 20 minutes COMPLETING it only to find out I didn't really qualify. :computer:
I went back and had DH do the yogurt survey- he's my survey savior cause he could techinically be Hispanic, as his father was born in Panama (he often will qualify when I can't). So he clicked "Hispanic" at the end- NOPE- gave HIM The boot TOO! So we BOTH wasted 20-25 minutes of time. :computer: We both now get the 'no surveys' available thing. :( I DID get an OTX survey though, so yay for that .80.
Wish I had come here first too! I ALSO finished the yogurt survey was thanked for finishing it and did the last few questions on income etc. then after the last question, the "You do not qualify for this survey SR page popped up." It seems it happens to all of us. Greenfield should be ashamed
For anyone who took the yogurt survey...did you report the problem to Greenfield using the link at the bottom of the survey page?
No bc it wasn't an error technically. It took you through the survey and when you hit your race or ethnic background it took you straight to the sorry you don't qualify page for me it gave me the button to take another survey, so there wasn't an error just you didnt' qualify.
No - at first of course I just thought I had done something wrong - but now I mean, really, have we ALL done something so wrong? In that case, it seems as if there's hardly anything most could do right with this one!
And in this case, what could Greenfield do about if it is just that the survey decides it doesn't like us and says we don't qualify? Besides remove the survey if it is kicking everyone out!
Point is that we DID the survey and finished it but did NOT get credit. Yes, we should complain to greenfield and no there wasn't the button to report the problem because after the surevy was finished it took you to the you don't qualify page. BUT it did this to everyone and it was not a short survey. It's frustrating
Just did about a 20 minute survey about banking/financial services. Got all the way to the end and got a page that said "Sorry, this survey is undergoing revisions and is not available right now. Please check back later." or something similar. There wasn't anywhere to report the problem. :computer: Beware!
Honestly...when the heck am I going to remember to come here first?!??!/
Just "didn't qualify" for the stupid yogurt one.
BLAH
UGH!!!! I just fell into the yogurt survey trap too! I'm sooooo irritated about that because it took forever just to get the boot! Greenfield is not my friend right now!
Ugh...I had the same issues with the yogurt survey and the appliance survery. I finished the whole yogurt one and when I got back to the page, it told me I didn't qualify. And even more annoying is that the whole time I was doing the survery, I was arguing with dh about how it is worth my time for 80 cents! LOL! I did not tell him I was booted! Truthfully, those two issues were more annoying than more normal state of not qualifying for anything!
Jill
i totally empathize with all of you this morning. i have been trying since early this morning to get a survey and i got booted out of the appliance survey but did complete one on financial services companies (join their community) and instead of taking me back to sr it took me to opionion surveys main home page so no credit for that one either. if i can't get a daily survey today i cant do a sm survey either as you have to get a daily survey first before you can qualify for the other one. this day has been horrible for surveys and it's all greenfields fault. ugh.:computer:
I just did the yogurt one too (didn't check here first b/c it is more confusing now that there is not a Surveys To Avoid thread).
I don't feel that doing a very long (20 minutes!!) survey and then being asked to enter the classification questions at the end and then being told that you don't qualify is fair or legitimate. :computer:
It was my understanding that Greenfield would not be doing that anymore b/c it is not fair to ask someone to take a survey and then ask the classification questions AT THE END and then kick them out.
I am very angry about this one and I did report it and expect a credit from Greenfield. It's hard enough to get surveys right now and I don't appreciate getting ripped off for one I did do. :(
***Sorry for the venting, just short on time as it is this morning and really upset that this kind of thing is still happening with Greenfield. :(
According to Greenfield, if you get kicked out after the classification questions, it is NOT really the classification questions that disqualified you but rather that you did not pass their quality control. 90% of the time, it means that you just didn't take as long to do it as they thought that you should. Greenfield will NOT give us any credits for surveys that do not pass the quality control. The only time that Greenfield will even consider giving us credits is if there was a technical error at the end of a survey that prevented you from being sent back to SR.
Tricia, I hate to be a pest but I really don't feel like that was the situation on this one. I took my time (20 minutes or so), answered all questions completely, and did the quality controls (putting in the 3's when told to for security purposes).
I take my time on the surveys and make sure to do them right b/c I don't want to waste my time doing a whole survey just to be told it doesn't count.
It kind of hurts my feelings when Greenfield takes that stance b/c I've been doing the surveys for close to a year now and I know how to do them correctly. It's kind of insulting that they have a problem survey and then say it must be our fault b/c we must have made some kind of mistake. :(
Just something maybe you could mention to them b/c I know we've had this come up on few before and I really don't believe that we are all somehow messing up on certain surveys.
As always thanks for listening and offering any help.
I have a hard time believing that NO ONE has passed the quality control for the yogurt survey. How could it be that ALL of us failed their quality tests? I agree that there are times that I may have answered too quickly and have gotten kicked out. When this happens, I seem to get the 'no surveys' message, not the 'Thank you but you don't qualify' message. I really think something else is going on with this particular survey.
For future reference, the link to report problem surveys to Greenfield is at the bottom of this page(the Daily Opinion Survey page):

I have to agree. I tried this one again this AM as it came up for the SM survey and really really took my time and gave thorough, thoughtful answers. And for the race question I chose "other" vs. caucasion to see if that made a difference. Still got the "thanks for your time but you do not qualify." UGH! SOOO not fair -- stay away from this survey!
I have to agree here that it is UNREASONABLE to think that we all blew through this yogurt survey and NONE of us passed their quality control. I too paid attention and read every question and put all 3's in the row where it was requested. They may want to look at this particular survey and reconsider their idea of time. Personally I think that when you get to the end and are told you have finished the survey and are thanked then that indicates you should be getting credit for your anwswers. It is frustrating and does make you re-think taking the surveys.
The bonus at the end of the month is nice but you do have to ask yourself how far you are willing to go for .80 - 1.00
Add me to the list of not qualifying for the yogurt survey due to classification purposes. Off to qualify for another survey.
Chrissy
I too have a hard time with *all* off us flunking the quality control. The first time I did the survey, i was talking to DH, going back and forth between the survey and another webpage- it seriously took me about 45 minutes to complete the entire thing, if not longer. When DH took it, it took him a good 20-25 minutes.
I can't believe it. I just sat through a ten minute survey on this brand and when I was answering the end questions, you know the personal questions like your ethnic group, it tells me I am not eligible for the credit!!! What's up with that!!
There is a whole thread on the techinical issues page...you are not alone
I REALLY do understand, BUT I have to agree I must have spent over 30 mins on this survey I read the forum, took care of the kids in between etc, I know what they expect and I really am a fast reader so I've had to force myself to slow down and do other things. But for over 2 doz people not to qualify when we do have all different qualifications to enter, and we took anywhere from 15-35 or more mins to do it, I really think it's some error on their end.
Believe me I'm over it, I moved on got another survey all is good, BUT I do not think that this was a typical issue that we've come across before. Do they expec the survey to take an hour? That's the only legit reason I can come up with. I too answered honestly as always, put the "for security use 3 in this row" etc.
I'm not expecting credit for it, but they do need to be made aware that there is something wrong with this survey, I just can't accept that so many of us "failed" the qualitry control for taking it.
I agree - this appears to be a highly unusual situation/survey. I think I got past the race question, and was kicked out after I answered the employment question. I know I took over 20 minutes on this which appears to me to be a reasonable amount of time to spend on a survey which was quite simple really. I have done similar surveys in the same amount of time - like the one I did following this - and was able to get credit. So - no, it is more than us all failing the quality control - it is that the quality control/expectations seem to be unreasonable on this one, or something else.
Also I didn't get an answer on why I would get sent to the no surveys available page several times after merely taking my time to read/answer the message that I will be honest in taking the survey. I want to know how I am failing the quality control in that instance!!

That I can't answer only that it has happened to me a lot and I'm sure it happens to everyone, the only thing I can guess is that they start off with a certain amount of survey's and you may enter into it just as a few are finishing up and therefore the quota is met before you even get a chance to get in. That happens frequently enough that it doesn't suprise me.
I have to agree. I did take my time with the survey and I followed all the "survey" rules. I've gotten 6 surveys from 1/1 through today and have gotten several others that took way too long to "qualify" me - ie the appliance survey. Way too many of us too way too much time for that to happen and I don't buy Greenfield's explanation. Not mad at SR but I haven't been doing as many surveys as I don't have time to waste getting kicked out after 20 min. Disappointing!!!
It's quite possible that they do have the yogurt one set at 60 minutes. I think the company doing the survey gets to decide how long they expect the survey to take...not Greenfield.
The bad news is that I lost my contact at Greenfield. She just up and moved to a different part of the company two weeks ago (after assuring me she wasn't going anywhere). I do have a new contact, but I don't know how she is going to deal with issues like this....including whether she will even take credit requests from me like the last contact did. We had a really great relationship with the other woman.
Believe me, it ticks me off, too, that we are not getting credit for these. The majority of my paycheck comes from daily surveys. So when you get screwed, I get screwed times about 100. I wish that we could take a more hard lined approach with them to threaten them to make them pay us. But the end result could be that they just cut off our surveys altogether. :(
Sorry about losing your contact at Greenfield; I hope this new one works well with you.
Yeah, it would be very bad for us, and worse for you, if they did cut off the surveys! So I guess sometimes we have to take our lumps with these surveys and be glad we at least have the chance to try for them. At least, I should remind myself of that before I get to fussing too much about it!
