Ahhh man! I really cannot fork out the money right now for a treat for myself....but it sure is tempting! YUMMY!!!
Yeah, I still haven't bought one for ME yet. But awesome timing to buy for SIL/BIL who come back from their honeymoon this week!
That would be an excellent welcome back present! They will love it. They are so delicious!
I almost went for one, until I got to the shipping amount  and then backed out of it....darn, that Dark Chocolate Splendor Caramel Apple dipped in those nonpareil candies had my name all over it!! Maybe someday they will offer a free shipping code?
LOL. You guys know me to well. I ordered one last week and just received it on Friday. You are soooo right, I love those apples.
At first I couldn't see myself paying that much for an apple, but once I did I was hooked. I did find out that the granny smith apple taste better than the red delicious apple. I always order the same kind- Chocolate Walnut. Oh, my what a treat!! For sure, I'm gonna order another one and perhaps send my secret pal one. ;)
A little secret- I just close my eyes when it comes to the shipping. :rotfl:
Hmmm... maybe that's why I haven't bought one for me yet...I'm afraid I'll get hooked!! I bought one for a friend's birthday in May and now for SIL/BIL for after honeymoon. The shipping is high, but I would expect that with this Texas heat- or it would just be an apple sitting in a puddle of chocolate!! I'm tempted to order one for myself though........hmmmm
I keep praying for free shipping...but nothing yet!
I'll start praying for free shipping too ! I understand why it is high, but I still hate paying it, especially since we don't get cash back on the shipping.
Same thing with Omaha Steaks, I would order all the time if it wasn't for shipping.
They are addicting!:rotfl: Very!!! You're right about them melting. Mine arrived in that condition. The first time this happened I didn't report it but I did today. And I have to admit that their customer service was awesome!! They offered to resend my order free of charge overnight. Just when I thought good customer service didn't exist! Unfortunately, I know the UPS driver is still gonna leave it on his truck until late in the evening. :(
When I got mine, the packaging was great. I understand why the shipping is so expensive. They were packaged so that the apples were untouched and cool with cooling packets.
However, I do think that the shipping is high, which is why I haven't bought myself any yet. My anniversary is coming up on Sept 5, so maybe I will buy me some for that!
OMG I want one sooooo bad! And with 10% back its a realllly gooood deal!
I have to agree though the shipping is killing.
I can almost taste the triple chocolate
They may look good and be good but at that price they are out of my league. That much for one apple:blush:
I know, but I have to agree with Lisa........they are sooooo good. My secret Pal (Sunni) got me an order from there and man was I in heaven.
Now I just started a low carb diet so I am guessing this is a no no :o. but boy is my mouth watering just thinking of them!

I keep seeing Mrs. Prindables in the todays posts ... being the top topic.
Is it a sign??? I feel like a moth and Im going into the light .... somebody stop me!
Well I may bite the bullet.......my parents have their anniversary on aug. 24 so this would be a great treat that they would never expect. Now to figure out what kind they will like!!

I guess my problem is I have just paid college tuition (private school no le$$) and outfitted a dorm room. So a $.75 candy bar is a big purchase for me:rotfl:
How to get one and not let my husband find out how much I paid for it....:)
This morning, I showed my husband an "enlarged" picture of the apple I want and he told me to get it ...but I neglected to tell him the total with shipping :rotfl: For those of you that have ordered these already, I know they say they come in an insulated bag but is that enough to keep it from melting on the UPS truck? Did it have any dry ice in the bag?
Pam - The packaging had those ice packs that you can refrigerate. Mine was VERY cold and the apples were in perfect condition. I have to say, they do package them nicely. No worries there. I got mine in April. You will SOOO enjoy the apples if you get them. With the 10 percent back, you almost can consider it discounted shipping?????? Trying to make you feel better about your purchase! LOL
I think yours would be fine. I live in Texas and nothing survives especially when the UPS driver drives around all day and insists in making me the last delivery. But Mrs. Prindables does an excellent job on keeping them insulated. We actually keep the ice packs and freeze them for later usage.
Again, the shipping is high and it actually went up a tad since the first one I ordered, but it's so worth it!!!!!
Just got my shipping notice! They get back tomorrow and it will be delivered Thursday! I'm sure they will love it!
I bite the bullet and ordered one for my friend who just got a big promotion.
The 10% back doesn't offset the shipping by a long shot, but it helps it to hurt a lot less.
