I am planning to have a great day. Two of my darling granddaughters are coming to have dinner and spend the night. For me, nothing can top that!:love:

DH and I are having a date night in once the kids are in bed. We ordered a dinner and will eat by candlelight. :love:

DH and I are going out to eat before a Monarch's game. It will great to spend some time with him after this long week.

We had Mickey Mouse waffles for breakfast and are taking the kids to see Hotel for Dogs with some AMC gift cards. :) Then we will probably order pizza and make valentine's cupcakes.

Last night was my own personal celebration. SG gave me chocolate covered strawberries and a split of Rosa Regale. I took a long bath and read Harry Potter!

Today is also Dh's and I anniversary, I was up at 530 am with DS for a hockey tournament, DH took DD5 to her basketball game. We all get to go back for another hockey game in 3 hrs.

I did however since it's a combo holiday for us, receive my fav. choc covered strawberries and a dozen roses.

I'll be happy if I don't have to cook dinner tonight after all the running around today.

We normally have a special candlelight dinner with the kids at home. I make special placemats for them and they really get a kick out of that. They so look forward to it. :)

I hope everyone has a happy Valentine's Day.

My day started off with a call from my granddaughters calling wishing me and DH a Happy VDay which was so nice.
Since its DH 50th birthday tomorrow we are sort of doing a combo. Today we exchanged Valentines/birthday presents, and I got him a watch and he got me a diamond heart necklace and a stuffed bear. We are having dinner tonight with some friends and his Bday cake and tomorrow its just the two of us for a fancy dinner at Flamestone. We had a lot to get done around the house today (including dog baths) but we will be enjoying the night.

nothing. DH had to go replace the alternator on my grandmother's van. can't have my almost 80 year old grandmother driving around in something that could die any minute. we exchanged cards, that's all we ever do. i wrote a special letter for his. he wrote 2 lines in mine, but he's been on night shift all week, so i'm lucky i got that, lol. we're buying barbeque for supper tonight-i'm just grateful i don't have to cook.
right now, i'm sitting here chacha'ing for half pay (their mistake, which they won't fix), and i'm sure i'll be here the rest of the day.

not too much here - DH gave me a box of chocolates with a sweet card. wish we could have a date night, but that is an extreme rarity!
however, I have nothing to complain abt, because I am getting a new house -DH wrote in the card that he hoped I wouldn't want something bigger next year!:D

well it was off to indoor soccer this morning........and then we went for lunch at Bertucci's (hey as long as I don't have to cook I am good)....gave the girls there presents earlier in the day (beautiful red swan lake ballet outfit for there american dolls...they loved them.....we just finished dressing Sadies doll).

going to head over my parents house in a bit to drop off some treats (my girls are making cards right now as we speak) .....and then we are spending the night watching movies.
