Brain Infarct: What do the colored dots mean?

As I was scanning the forum, I noticed everyone has a circle next to their screen name. Some dots are green, some are blue. I tried to make some sense of them, but my brain doesn't seem to compute.:rotfl: Couldn't find the answer on a Search, so I thought I'd ask. Any ideas?

I have never noticed them. Are they new? They HAVE to be new. I could not have missed that for very long. I am on too much to not notice that!

ps. Okay now you have me second guessing myself. I know other sites use this as well so I knew what it meant but I just assumed since I think they have been around for the whole time but now I cannot say definitely. Seriously you guys are bad on the brain! I am all confused!

I know I'm not the authority on anything, especially since I started this thread, but I think they denote the number of postings you have done. Now, how many you need for each sunshine............I really don't know.
