Sunshine Rewards Forum Rules--Read First! UPDATED 7/21/09
Forum Rules for Sunshine Rewards
General Rules:
1) Do not spam the board. This includes posting advertisements, links to other sites where you are promoting other rewards programs, and posting the same message in multiple places.
2) Be courteous. Do not flame other members of the board or curse. Do not threaten other members of the board or the Sunshine Rewards staff.
3) No "adult" content. This forum is open to the general public, including children.
4) If you are banned, you are banned permanently. Do not attempt to sign up with a different alias.
5) No illegal content. Do not discuss illegal topics such as how to defraud companies, obtain illegal software, etc.
6) Search the forum before asking questions. The Sunshine Rewards forum is enabled with a search function. Because it is likely that your question has been asked before, please use the search function before asking your questions.
6) Do not bump up threads more than once a day. Moderators are not online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your question will be answered as soon as someone has a chance to get to it. Alternatively, there may not be an answer.
6) Do not post to ask about other posts. Sometimes posts are deleted or threads are closed at the discretion of the moderators. The moderators do not need to explain why. If your post or thread is deleted or closed, please do not continue the discussion by posting about it again.
Sunshine Rewards Specific Rules:
1) Do not discuss canceling offers of any type. Our advertisers do not take kindly to members signing up and canceling quickly. We risk not only losing the offer but also any credits that we have already been given.
2) Do not ask for credits.If you do not receive credit for an offer or shopping, the proper place to request credit is through a Trouble Ticket. Please do not talk about individual credit problems in the forums.
3) Do not discuss other rewards sites.This forum is paid for and administrated by Sunshine Rewards. Discussion of other rewards sites (good or bad) will be deleted.[FONT=Verdana]
4) Do not post the name of the brand or company you perform a survey on (whether positive or negative experience). You agree when taking the survey that you will not discuss the proprietary information in the survey. This includes the name of the product/service and any new products/services they are testing.
5) Do not post or recommend any merchants that are not available on SR. You may request these merchants in the appropriate shopping request threads but please do not recommend them for shopping at this time. This does not sit well with the merchants we do have and are trying to support. These merchants are paying us rewards to shop with them and so we should not be advertising competitor merchants who aren't SR merchants. This includes posting coupons or asking about coupons for non SR merchants as well.
6) DO NOT discuss ways to circumvent/defraud the advertisers such as: giving false names, addresses, phone numbers (including private phone/fax numbers).
7) DO NOT ask about individual Trouble Tickets (ie status of ticket, status of credits). The appropriate place for TT questions is in the trouble ticket system. Posts regarding individual tickets will be ignored/deleted.
8) DO NOT ask about individual cash out status'. It is very difficult for SR to match forum ids with SR user ids to properly answer questions. Cash outs should be requested 2-4 weeks from when you need them. Please err on the side of 4 weeks to ensure timely delivery due to time needed to receive cards from merchants, SR processing, and USPS mail service. Posts regarding individual cash outs will be ignored/deleted.
9) DO NOT BASH Merchants/Advertisers/Business Partners of SR in the Forums if you are having an issue with a particular merchant, transaction, or other related issue please open a TT and SR can help you get in contact with the appropriate people. Bashing these people in a public forum that they do read does not help your case and makes SR look bad. This in turn can make SR lose revenue/business partners and thus decrease the number of contests we have on the site, in the forums, and decrease special contests. You wouldn't want people coming to your store or home and bashing you to your friends/customers/family so don't do it here.
10. PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR OR SOLICIT DONATIONS IN THE FORUMS. We have the Donation Station reserved for Sunshine charity donations and asking for donations for other charities competes with this.
Signatures:
1) Links. Signatures cannot contain referral links to other rewards sites or to for-profit sites. You may link to your Sunshine Rewards-sponsored blogs (for example, Chatty Women and She Needs to Know). However, no advertising. Sunshine Rewards reserves the right to edit any signatures.
2) Graphics. Graphics must be no larger than 500 pixels wide and 200 pixels high total. This will not include your SM bracelets or SR Banner.
Sunshine Rewards maintains the right to alter these rules at any time.
We had a good hint today from a fellow member to ensure everyone reads the current posts (including updates) in all the different areas. On the navigation bar under the sign in area of the forum. Click -> Quick Links -> Today's Posts and you will get a list of all topics that are being replied to that day.
