    Default RETIRED

    I have officially retired!! 30 years of service with the State of GA. I'm only 54, so I'm sure that some other job is out there waiting. For now, I'm just enjoying kicking back and doing nothing!!

    Congratulations! That sounds wonderful. I am so looking forward to retirement. I understand the enjoyment of kicking back and doing nothing. I was 40 when I had DD13 and was on maternity leave nearly 5 months. I know I had a baby but it was so different than having to get up and go to work and deal with all the "stuff". I was a manager and worked alot of extra hours. That is not to say that SAHM do nothing, it was just a welcome change of pace for me and one tiny baby didn't make near the mess that she did as she became mobile.

    Congratulations!! Enjoy some time off! I have been on maternity leave fr less than a month and I am itching to go back out and work, lol!

    Hey, congrats! You're my role model! Unfortunately, DH and I would like to pay off our house before retiring, so I have 10 more years.
