Roll or Rent?

I have around 40 points left over or a bit more. September is the time when we must roll them over or loose them forever.

I wondered if I should rent them out and use the money for the fees in Jan or roll them and perhaps stay at BCV or AKL next time we go.

I just banked 39 points yesterday. I plan to use them with a few points from 2009 so that I can bank the rest of 2009. I am planning a trip with friends in 2010 so with the banked 2009 points, 2010 points and borrowing 2011 points I can do a week in a 1 bedroom.

So I would say that it really depends on what you are planning for future vacations, and how many points you will need (and in which year).

I'd give them to me.

Actually, I do use my rent to help pay for maintenance fees and it does help.

I think it depends on if you are travelling next year and if the extra points can be put to good use then. If it would be of more help to you for the fees, look into renting them. We have about 60 points left right now after our upcoming trip that I will bank for next year.
