DD in The Little Mermaid

I am so excited! My daughter is in drama camp (started this week - August 3). We knew they'd have two weeks of intense rehearsal, then perform the play for two weeks, then we found out they would be doing the Little Mermaid, which thrilled us.

Parts were auditioned for and granted this week and my daughter got the part of Ursula! It's going to be such a fun part for her to play!

We've been singing "Poor Unfortunate Souls" all night tonight!

Just had to share - we're very excited!

Congratulations to your daughter! How cool for her!! So, do you have to make the costume or do they have someone to do it for you? I use to make the costumes for our childrens theatre before the hurricane and it was so much fun. I just loved to watch those kids act.
You will have to post a picture of her in her costume so we can all see!!!
