Site Slowness Update

It appears that there is something going on with whoever else is located on the same server as us that is killing our speed this morning. The solution is to move to our own server (which is a lot more expensive but at this point the best solution).

So sit tight and I will keep you updated. As soon as they either get the server moved or fix the problem with the current one, I will put up the special cashouts. In the meantime, I have caught up all of the cashouts for everyone who cashed out through 9am this morning and am working on pulling all of the credits that have come in through this morning, including yesterday's surveys. As soon as the site is back up, I will hit the button to import all of those so hopefully your totals will be even higher than the last time you logged in.

I really wish I had a clue. I am so incredibly upset about this right now. I'm just sitting here watching my screen NOT load with absolutely nothing that I can do about it. It's totally in the hands of the hosting company.

I'm a little (a lot) perturbed that they decided all of a sudden that the only solution to fix the site is to move it to another server. It sounds like there is not even a temporary solution to get it going again. It's "give us $1500 and we will fix it for you." Kind of like extortion when they know we have no choice.

Trying to be patient. Not doing a very good job of it.....

When I read that through an email I thought OMG who is getting mad at you about this and then I saw it was you. It does kinda seem like a joke. I mean there isn't an it person who can help you with this. You shouldn't have to stress over it.

Fortunately, it is SunshineGuy's thing. Unfortunately, he actually has a real job. LOL! But he is on the case negotiating with them. The company that we use for our hosting is actually the company that his big company uses for their T1 lines and all that. So he has a lot of pull with them for my little company because of his big, real company.

SunshineGuy is a very patient, rational person. I am a very emotional, impatient person. It is in times like these that I know we could never do the Amazing Race together.
