Great! I was going to check over on the Dis, but you know how well the "search" function works over there.

After missing the dream team several times, we finally won lanyards at DL getting off Winnie the Pooh - our last ride of the trip!

We have also won 2 hats and 6 lanyards from mailing in postcards.

Just got back and on our first day at the Parks (MK to be specific) we were coming off of Goofy Barnstormer (my dd4's favorite ride) and waiting for us was a dream team member and we were all given dream fast passes!!!! A great start to our vacation. To be honest that is the one park that I would want to win the fast passes for........there are so many rides there that is was great not having to fast pass everything ourselves!!!

    Very Happy!!

Wow, this is one lucky group!

We went to DW in 10/06 and on our second day our family of four won lanyards. We were in AK just about to do one of the walking tours of the animals and they stopped everyone. I was wondering what was going on because I didn't think it was a guided tour when they announced we had all won the lanyards. My DS9 loved pin trading (and we spent some $$ on buying pins so he could trade!)

We also had some unofficial magical moments which to us were even more pricesless.

The first day we were in Epcot and it was 93 degrees and we were waiting for the Norwegian ride. My husband and the boys stood out in the sun while I ran into the bakery to look (yummy!) Anyway, I turned around and my husband was out of line talking to a CM so I hurried out to see what the problem was. We were chosen to be honorary Vikings and got to skip to the front of the line and ride the Viking ship all by ourselves. My boys got their certificates and we were so happy we weren't standing in line!

Then on our 3rd day, we were at MK and about to get on the Pirates ride. My DS4 rode in the stroller so we had the rolling dismount where I would grab him out and DH would continue walking right to the stroller parking, while we walked to the line. A CM stopped us and asked us how many were in our group. We waited for my DH and the CM took out a treasure map and talked to my DS4 about what it was and what you find. Then we walked behind the scenes and got to skip to the front on the line and again ride the boat all by ourselves. At the end, DS4 gave the map to the CM at the end of the ride and he got a plastic parrot filled with plastic gold coins and tattoos.

Also, my DS9 was celebrating his birthday and met some very kind CM's. Besides many happy birthday greetings, he received a free ice cream from a cart vendor, and when he couldn't make up his mind pin trading, a CM gave him 2. It really is the little things that make a big memories.

It was a great trip and I really missed DW for a long time after that. I also understood why some people went every year.

We are heading back next Thanksgiving with my parents and a year doesn't seem so long when you've got that to look foward to. I was really excited to know that they were extending the YOAMD to 2008.

    Good luck to everyone!

on our april trip, the dream team gave us dream fastpasses at animal kingdom. we had several magic moments and certificates, we were also chosen to be vip family for the grand fiesta boat ride in mexico. that is so cool to pass the whole line of waiting guests and then get a boat to ourselves.

(right now it is hard to remember april details because we just got back from a dec trip)

on this dec trip, we won dream fast passes at mgm. lacy received a tinkerbell pin from a cm, at the hotel she got another pin, something about being an honorary pop century person. she won a trophy at the big wheels ride. the main thing and the biggest excitment for me was that mickey mouse picked my granddaughter to open toontown! he escorted her all thru the mickey house. that was just the best. i mean i thought about that last nite, if only 1 family a day gets picked, that means only 365 families a year, out of how many millions of people, that is like winning a lottery. and come on, to be given an escort by the mouse that started this whole thing! i will treasure that moment so much more that anything else.
all star movies for 10! jun 15-21. what a nightmare of a vacation.

So this isn't an "official" dream since I wasn't able to go this year, but when I called a few weeks ago to postpone our trip until next year, the CM gave me something that's just as good in my book. My DS will be turning into a Disney adult before our trip next year and I told the CM as much and he told me was well aware of that and was keeping the kids ages the same as this year, therefore saving me $100 or so. Sounds like a dream to me!!
