I sold scrap gold & got $500!! OMGosh! I'm sooooo thrilled!! I can't believe it!! I've been stalking a thread & a few websites for over a month & finally got my butt in gear to send in my gold & silver! Went to a local guy yesterday & he was going to give me $388...I'm SOOOOO glad I sent it in!!

Come on...do the Disney Fund Dance w/me!!

10k & 14k gold items...some chains/necklaces, a few rings, a bracelet & 2 charms. Had about 36.3 pwt (didn't break it out by 10k or 14k though). Then I had a WHOLE bunch of silver 102.2 pwt...but that doesn't pay a whole lot, but it was better than sitting in my dresser!!

These were items I knew I wasn't going to wear again. Only 2 items were "broken" rest were completely in tact....I just have this thing...I LOVE my birthstone & well, I've purchased many an item for MYSELF & I figured, might as well cash in while the price of gold is still pretty high!! I did NOT part w/items that people gave me...like my class ring, my confirmation ring & the first ring Steve ever gave me. Even if I'll never wear them again, they still have some meaning to me.

Heck yeah...especially for items that were just sitting there!!

They did quote me over $600 last night over the phone, but I figured my weights were a little off because the stones were still in them. I'm MORE than pleased w/my increase in Disneyfundage though!!
