You All Are Too Much

I don't want to derail any of the other threads that are going on, but I just have to say that you all treat me like a queen!!

You know how as a kid your birthday is EVERYTHING? Everyone in your family calls to wish you a happy day. They sing to you at school. You get cards and surprise gifts. Then as an adult, things start to change. Not everyone remembers. Not everyone cares. No one has the time to make a big deal out of it.

But you all have totally turned that upside down on me this year!! Surprise presents, kind words from friends, moderators doing my work. It's actually fun to have a birthday again!!!

You all are fabulous. There would be no Sunshine without the community, I know that for sure. Let's all have some fun today!!!

Why shouldn't you get to feel awesomely special on your bday?!!
I think it's too bad in a way that when you get to be an adult people think you'll mind less if they forget your bday - but it does happen. So it's just that much more fun when people DO make a big deal out of your bday - and YOU sure do deserve it!
