DH and I will need a car for approx 3-4 days... but we don't want a car
for our entire stay.

YES, they have a national/avis car rental, it's located just aside of MK, when you make your reservation they will give you a number to call to schedule a time for a shuttle to pick you up and bring you to the lot.

We rented from Budget. They have a location inside the Doubletree at Downtown Disney and their shuttle will come and pick you up at any WDW resort. Their customer service is amazing and their rates are much more competitive than National. You can reserve them through SR and get credits, too. We just did this a few weeks ago and I was very happy with their service.
