SR Paid Clicks Go get it Thread!!!

Where have all the clicks gone?? I thought maybe I just had bad timing but it looks like from this thread noone has had one for several days??

Does someone, Cindy, Tricia, have some help for us on this one?! Do the paid clicks do the same sort of thing in January as the surveys have done? Or what's up?

It's my understanding that sometimes there are paid clicks & sometimes there aren't. I think there is only so much Tricia can do for those. If there is a vendor/client providing the paid click, then Tricia will give it to whomever fits the demographic.

I'm sure it will pick up again at some point.

Pretty much everyone was just clicking on the links and not actually doing anything on the pages.

So they dried up again. Advertisers only want to pay when people do things like put in their email addresses, sign up for the offered newsletters, etc. Only 1% of our people were actually doing anything on the pages.

We're trying to find a way to change our system so that we can send paid clicks to people who are actually interested in sites rather than just members who are here to do the paid clicks and sunshine scratch off only. That sounds harsh, but we lose so much money when that happens that it makes SR not viable anymore.

That makes a lot of sense and you have to do what's best for SR!

Thanks! Actually, I AM interested in the sites; whenever there was an offer that was more interesting to me I looked at it - I guess I never spent much time on them, though, so they probably don't like that. And I always did the offers that came with the clicks - but never got the credit

Anyway I do understand what you say about the system - and about people only doing the clicks/scratch off. Of course, that wouldn't be profitable for SR or the advertisers. I hope you can get something worked out.
