I too feel guilty for using multiple email addresses to get surveys, but never did it occur to me to cash out.

Thanks for the update, Cindy. I too have been feeling sick to my stomach about all this and guilty that I have played a part in tarnishing SR's wonderful site.However, it didn't occur to me to even try to cash out when hearing the news. If there are reversals, I am more than willing to pay for my errors.
Add me to the list of guilty ones. I've used three addresses and DH uses one. Our income just changed, so I've changed my demographics too.
I have done surveys for other sites, but I never repeat the same survey so I thought this was OK. I guess not.
I feel bad that I may have been part of the problem, but I never intended to be. Hopefully this can all be staightened out. I am one of those sick people who loves doing surveys and would really miss them if they go away!
this is something that you might want to consider, sunshine family.
Only a fraction of the SR users frequent the forums. Might there be a way to include ALL rules on the Login Page on SR? That way the ones who don't use the forum knows what is expected of them.
I personally think as a whole, the forum users are on top of things and committed to making SR work. It's the ones who don't use the the forum are the ones we need to worry about.
I think at one point I think I read there's over 10,000 Sr members and of those only 1500 are registered with the forum. By posting it only on the forum, you are only hitting a small amount of ppl. everyone has to login in at one point or another and having the rules there would get the biggest audience.

For once, my ignorance paid off!I had no idea that people were using multiple email addresses and using other family members to do surveys. I wondered how anybody could meet the quota for a month for the bonus when I couldn't even get a SINGLE survey. Honestly, my record for November through January is a BIG FAT ZERO. I've been plugging along with the same old address and demographics the whole time...
I just got back from running the girls to dance class (what timing for SG to be in California!). I got an email from my OLD contact at Greenfield who said that it might take them until tomorrow morning to get all of the users blocked so that they can open up the system to the rest of us again. When it DOES get opened, I will post a notice with the requirements that Cindy got from Greenfield.
They are supposed to send me a spreadsheet of all of the userids that are being blocked. From what I understand, you WILL be unblocked sometime in the next week once they come up with a better system to keep people from taking the same survey more than once. But their IT is going to have to figure that one out and it may take a week or two. Then you will be let back in on a trial basis to make sure that you are complying with the new rules. As long as you do, no problem. If you do NOT, then we would have to look at banning you from SR. But I truly think that once we all know the rules, we won't have a problem with our members following them.
I'm still calming down. LOL! Thank God for Cindy and Angie for knowing how to talk me down out of the trees sometimes!!

I am feeling so guilty because I use one or 2 email addys for me, my hubby uses one or 2 and my sister is here on a regular basis and if I can't get one I might ask her to do one for me. I hope that this doesn't hurt me or SR. I would hate to lose my account here because of a small amount of money.
Sadly, the people who are feeling guilty are likely the ones who did nothing wrong! It's the people who were really working the system in a bad way that are likely just saying that Greenfield or SR got what was coming to them.
I don't want anyone to feel bad for using different email addresses when we all thought that was okay. Or asking other people in your house to take them when we were encouraging that. The only thing that bothers me on the part of our members was where people were intentionally taking the SAME survey over and over just for the money.
