I used my work email one day and ever since I've been getting spam. They had no problem "selling" my email address![]()

i'm still able to get in some surveys. I hope all this is over with soon. It is depressing to think of the money that is being lost. I am stuck in the house on this snowy, windy day and was grateful for the time I was able to spend on here. I do feel like a twit today, I referred my sister to SR, she gets in maybe 3 surveys a month and she was banned. I keep telling her that she should be able to take them again soon. we are going to a girls only trip this July, and the extra spending money will be great!!!
WOW! You go away on vacation, and come back to this mess. I'm so sorry for SR to have to go through all this. I'm sure I'm one of the guilty ones, though I really didn't mean to be. I haven't tried taking a survey since coming home, but I'm not expecting to be able to successfully. Good luck to everyone. It's nice having these SR boards so we can all stick together!
I'm still locked out.
After several days of no surveys, I decided yesterday to come check the forum and found this thread. I too seem to be banned, and I'm pretty sure my husband and I have only used two addresses. The weird thing is, I checked my account history, and I got credit for a survey on 2/5 and then on 2/7. From reading through this thread, isn't that after they banned everyone? So I don't know what to think. I did open a ticket like Tricia suggested, so hopefully she can figure that one out.
I have been guilty of a lot of the things people mentioned here, though: taking two surveys that seemed very similar, but had slightly different products or commercials, so I thought they were different (I would think if I was using the same e-mail address they wouldn't give me the same survey twice). Or, sometimes I think maybe when I took it before I was kicked out, but due to changes in what I had bought in the past month, or different answers in grey areas, the second time I qualified. Also, my husband and I are fairly certain we've had the same survey, but like others have said, I thought they wanted both of our opinions - after all they obviously can tell we're from the same household; we're using the same computer. I was NOT getting credit for more than 1 per day, though (with maybe one exception last year I think) - I was lucky to get 15-20 per month! And our two emails were absolutely valid.
Does anyone know when the new rule about using two emails was started and posted? I remember getting an email about surveys, but I obviously didn't read it closely because I thought it was just saying use only one valid email per person, consistently. And I don't remember when I read the restrictions on the survey page and realized it was one per household. So, maybe that's what happened is 2/5 was me, 2/7 was my husband, so now I am banned for the new rules violation. I hope not!I truly didn't mean to commit fraud! Hopefully Greenfield will fix the system and we will all be given a second chance to comply with the clarified rules. I don't know why it allows you to say "this is not me" if they only allow one person. This is where my confusion started.
If you are still reading, SORRY this is so long!!!
Pardon me for beating a dead horse or whatever - but I thought the ban was lifted a few days ago? I have made an effort to check each day to see if I can take a survey, and still no surveys available for me each time. I am using one of the email addresses that was on the banned list - but that is my main email. So is this why I cannot get in? I mean, do I really need an address that they have not seen before to get back in? I have a new gmail one, but I am leary of trying of it for fear they will say I have tried 2 email addresses again - or not like the long gmail address!
I really would like to be able try for surveys again - so please help me out!
