I have a questions about the otx surveys. I never did them before yesterday. I was so surprised when it credited within about 2 hours. I did one again this am, around 9 am, and it has not credited yet (it' almost 10 pm). what is the normal timeframe? thanks!!

OTX surveys typically credit on the hour - sometimes two hours if you finish close to the top of the hour. I have had some that did not credit despite getting the Thank you page. Hope yours credits for you!

I was taking a long one about clothing stores, it said to click next to veiw an advertisement and kicked me out. I don't normally have problems with these that one must be messed up.

Did you clear cookies first? If not that is probably what happened (found the cookie from the previous day, and though you already rec'd credit, so didn't get it again.)

Just make sure to clear cookies before doing an OTX.

it didn't credit. I honestly don't know if cookies have ever been cleared on this comuter, if they were, it had to be from my husband. I know it probably doesn't belong on this thread, but can anyone talk me through it? I am not very computer literate, so small, simple words please

Very easy and they should be cleared inbetween OTX and offers that you do. Daily is recommended.

Tools --> internet options --> delete cookies ----> delete temp internet files then you should be good!

okay, I cleared cookies (was that suppose to make all of my dropdown choices disappear in my web browers?) and completed a survey, we'll see what happens. thanks!


update: I got the credit for this one!!

WHOA! Now I've seen everything. I was trying to take an OTX survey and got thrown into, what I think was, a German language survey. I didn't understand what the boxes meant and what I checked. I hope I checked the right demographics so I don't get in trouble...I didn't qualify anyway.

is it me or otx? i have been trying since around 9:30 this morning to get a survey (24 hours since my last one) and i keep getting the message that i have exceeded my limit for the day. how is that possible as it has been well over 24 hours since i took one and it credited. i have cleared out all my cookies and deleted all my temp files so i do not know why this happening to me again. i was having good luck the last 2 days with otx but now i can't get anything. totally confused.

I did great on OTX last month but have only got 2 this month. I guess I am done with them. I keep trying.

Also, I got the exceeded message but that just means to try back later, 8 hours , in the day. You were still inside a time limit window.
