Karn - for responding to my post. i was beginning to think i was all alone in the forum and that i was the only one who was having this problem getting a ds today. got one yesterday with no problem but today has been a real hassle. oh well, hopefully gf will add some surveys either today or tomorrow (even though tomorrow is a holiday and i would hate to not get one on the 1st of the month) so let's just keep trying and i will keep my fingers and toes crossed that we both get one soon. have a wonderful labor day.

Marcy, it's been my experience that if I have trouble getting a survey on one day of a weekend or holiday, I usually can't get one all weekend. Figuring this is the case, I just relax and don't try so hard or fret about it. I bet you'll have less trouble on Tuesday, as long as you let the people at GF wake up, play some catch up, and download some new surveys. I, too, got a survey yesterday but not today. I found that if I become too focused about getting a survey everyday, I get no enjoyment out of SR. I'm just going to enjoy a nice holiday weekend and wait until Tuesday when new ones will hopefully be loaded. I hope you enjoy your holiday weekend, too!

I think when we get to this point in the month, whether you can get a survey or not comes down to how many you have already done. I had only done one survey so far this month and just tried to get one and got one on my first try. I think they just only have so many loaded in at the end of the month. If you have already taken more than 20, it does get harder to qualify.

Pat & Tricia for your words - it does put everything into perspective for me. guess i am just a bit obsessive when it comes to surveys as i do enjoy doing them and the 80 cents doesn't hurt either (that's where i make the bulk of my money). maybe i should shop more and spend money on things for my hh and my family and try not to let surveys get the better of me. again and i hope you both have a great labor day holiday.

After trying all day I finally got one on dog food!

Marcy - I just tried to take a survey and there was anew one up for pet owners - which I am - but I did not qualify. Keep trying - when you have time - but try not to be so obsessive about it - I know it's tough but sometimes it's easier to just let it go!! Good luck and have fun!!

Karn - you are so right. i got the one for pet owners yesterday and got booted out - guess they didn't like the fact that i owned a cat. one survey did come up but it was an otx and i have already done that one for the day so i immediately closed out of it (hopefully it won't screw things up for me for tomorrow) and no once again no surveys. will let it go for tonight and try again tomorrow. hopefully i will have better luck. have a wonderful evening and for everything.

I just got one of the easiest surveys I have ever had. It was about paper products and was like 5 questions. It took about 2 minutes and I got the congrats page. Great way to start Sept. surveys!
