Crud...why did I look...Photopass Photo Session

Due to the price increase announced a few months ago, I had given up on doing the Photopass Photo Session in December...and as I'm getting closer to our depature date, I wanted to get some ducks in their rows....so I told SIL that they raised the price on the photo session & I wasn't planning on doing it anymore. She was fine with that.

Well, then I went to the disboards & found the thread I've been avoiding "Breaking NEWS PHOTO SESSIONS!!!!!!!"...well come to find out, they still are honoring the $25 price for the photo session if you get the prepurchased PhotoPasss CD. CRUD!!

Of course SIL is still interested now...this means I'm going to have to try to lose 20 lbs in 19 days (), step up on the tanning PRIOR to leaving (I hate being pastey in photos) AND find outfits for both DH & I!! He's worse than a girl I tell ya!

Man...why did I have to look! Well hopefully, we'll get some nice photos out of it!

And maybe this will help another SR friend who was thinking about it but changed their mind!!??

I do know that a few of our SR friends have done the sessions in the past too..Janet, Cate & maybe Carla?? If you do a search on here I think you can find their photos too.

Oh, please don't talk about the photopass cds. I'd made up my mind not to do the photopass to save money on my Dec. trip with DD but Tinkerbell keeps tinkling in my ear......

Ok, REALLY not trying to be Evil Jenny here, BUT...let me tell you a little story of a girl who did not buy the PhotoPass CD & totally regrets it...the year was 2005 & DH & I were picked to be Grand Marshalls. Yes, I got a free 8*10 photo & YES, it was on my PhotoPass card...but I chose NOT to buy the CD...DUMB, DUMB, DUMB!!! Yes, I've since scanned that photo, but there were others that they took that I didn't buy.....gone forever.

So my theory now is...always buy the PrePurchased CD at a cost savings cuz you NEVER know when you'll be picked for Grand Marshall (or win a stay in the castle or whatever). PLUS, if you're going to do any of the PhotoPass photographers, just "owning" those photos to do w/as you choose is worth the cost of the CD in my opinion. Another way I think of it is..."You never know...THIS could be our Christmas card photo!"

OR...you could just ignore the PhotoPass photographers & decline being Grand Marshalls or the stay in the castle! OR accept those wonderful things & pay more for the CD when you get home!

I'm already in one w/my SIL, but maybe that's something you could look into..I know SR doesn't allow those threads but maybe you could check out another site or maybe someone else on here would want to share??

My DB will be there the same week, and I tried to get him to do the CD with me but nooooo. He only does the DVD. Scuze me!! Okay, okay, you win. I'd better get something special outta this....like grand marshall, or maybe a smackaroo from Capt Jack (the real one).
