Daily Survey Technical Issues Thread

I just took a survey through Invoke through GF. It sais that it would pay $5 to take the survey. But at the end it doesn't mention payment. I have done Invoke before and normally they pay $30 and it goes into my paypal account. I got the congrats screen and everything which is good, but not sure how the $5 payment will come through.

DH just got this one. Had to answer a bunch of questions to be approved, had to agree to download an active X control. DId all that then entered the survey only to be told it was already started and he could not enter! How do we get the active x control off our computer???

You should be able to find it in programs and delete it. Someone else may be able to help with more specific directions.

FYI, a while back Tricia told us that GF doesn't allow surveys to have us download anything. So if that sort of thing is required in the future, don't do it, don't do the survey, and report that survey to GF.

That's what we were told, at least.

Just did a DS and it was a quick one but at the end it took me to a page that said;

just tried to take my ds this morning and this is the message i got:

i don't know if this is technical or not but here goes, just did my ds about booking travel online and the only question it asked if i plan on researching travel in the next 12 months and when i answered the question a small box came up and said:
You have successfully completed this survey. We appreciate the time and effort you took to provide your valuable feedback.
Thank you
the survey was thru keynote but it did not take me back to sr nor did i get the congrats screen. i did report this to gf so who knows. did i complete it, should i try for another one? any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got the same survey with exactly the same results and am wondering if I should try for another.

Got this last night. Since it didn't take me back to to the SR congrats screen, I tried for another, but never qualified for another survey.

On the survey page that usually has the green GF image you click on to get to the survey page, the image is not there for me, and when I tried clicking on the space just in case, I get 'Internet Explorer cannot display the page'. Very odd. (there have been times I clicked on the space when the image didn't show up and have gotten thru, just not today )
