It's very aggravating. Some of them will say up front that they want you to join an online community so you can opt out immediately, but I do get grumpy at the ones that don't ask until the end (kind of like the ones that demand your name and address after you have spent 30 minutes answering questions). I wish they would all ask up front so I can choose if I want to join or not. Thankfully, those surveys seem to be less frequent these days (or maybe I have already taken all of them!).
