Amazon Cash out

If I cashed out for an Amazon gift card today, would it really take 4-6 weeks or are they usually received earlier? I know the terms say 4-6 weeks. But I also know in the past that I received mailed gift cards earlier, sometimes. Just wandering what other's experience with Amazon gc's were. This would be my first time cashing out for an Amazon gc.

It's been a long time since I cashed out for amazon GCs, but I remember it did take the full time.

Thanks for the information. I was tempted to cash out for a Amazon card. But saving for Disney may win out.
