Default giving out your cell #

I have always just opted out of offers that require my cell #. I guess I don't want to start getting sales and marketing calls on it and text messages (They cost me 25 cents to give and receive).

I guess I should add that I have a netzero phone number I give out instead of my home number.....but I do still get some calls at home!

So what about you? Do you give out your cell # for offers? Besides the flirt one that will put a charge on you cell phone bill, I mean just in general.

I never give out my cell phone number on any offers. That is one phone that I know when it rings it isn't a sales call. Although, since I have caller I.D. on my home phone, if I can see that it is someone I don't know or don't want to talk to I just don't answer it.

I pay for calls/texts on my cell so that is one number I never give out. Although I have caller ID on my land line so I can screen incoming calls, the number is unlisted so I got a Netzero number to use for offers.

I am the complete opposite. I have now just started giving out my cell number only. My dh works rotating shifts and he has been getting calls when he is trying to sleep. I never use my cell phone...emergencies only..so I use that number. I have not even checked for messages in over a month!!
