There is a problem w/ the OTX they are trying to fix. Basically your age is 2008 minus the year you were born, regardless of what month. Doesn't make it better that your time was wasted, I know, but they are not intentionally trying to deceive. The data gets dumped for unqualified surveys, so it was a waste of their time also.

Silly me. I did the OTX survey on cars today. Got all the way through, then forgot to add a year to my age. I know better and I understand the problem. However, I guess I wasn't awake yet. So of course I got the standard "dishonest" message, and now it won't let me retry. Frustrating!

Update: About 1 1/2 hours later, I was again ALLOWED to take a survey, got the same one, remembered to add a year to my age, and I got credit.

I got one that was a focus group invitation from a food company...ended, but no completed message.

Me too. I got this one Monday morning. It did ask me about where I shopped and it took about 15 minutes. I'll try this afternoon and try another survey.

Forgive me if this has been answered, but the thread is over 200 pages long and I'm going crosseyed from trying to find an answer.

I know that if we're having trouble qualifying for a survey, we can get another household member to log in and try. I've been getting DH to do surveys when I don't qualify. But can he repeat a survey that I've already done? So far, I've been keeping a list of the surveys that each of us has completed and if we get a survey that looks like the other one has done, we back out and try to qualify for another one. Am I doing this unneccessarily? It sure would be nice to not have to drop doing a survey if I don't have to but I don't want to do anything that is against the rules.

I am not the end all be all with answers and rules around here so with that said I believe it is ok if you and he do the same survey since you are 2 different people with 2 different opinions.

Personally, I haven't found that to be the case. I have only found it with the OTX (My Thought Counts) Surveys.

Tried a survey this morning, not a lot of time invested but frustrating. Answered 2 questions and it took me to this page. Not to greenfield, not to sunshine. It just stopped.

Have yesterday's surveys posted yet? (from 1/15?) I'm wondering since SR is having site problems if the credits haven't posted yet? Thanks for any information.
