I've been really hitting a brick wall with the paid freebie offers. The only one's to go through are the medical one's, and I get only about 1/2 of those.

After I look at the silver, gold and platinum offers, 2, 3 or 4 or how many they ask for in each, I never get the "you been entered into our drawing,". Anyone else having problems? So then I know I won't get a credit either.

Are you both inputing your data and requesting an auto quote? Is it true that requesting auto insurance quotes can ding you credit score since they check it. I'm on the fence about requesting a quote if it'll ding my score.

I'm not sure how much of a ding, but it will show up usually on the hard pull part of your report (the section where it stays on for 2 years, where you authorized them to check your history.)

That being said, and I'm not sure if you even need to to get the credit, but I don't think I'd ever give out my SS# online for a .50 credit, just personal view though!

OhMari-i can totally relate to what you are saying. i have done 3 modpath offers in the last 3 days and none of them have credited. i keep the confirmation page up, i don't delete the cookies for hours and if there is a confirmation email i always confirm the email. have had better luck with the medical ones also. don't give up on these offers just yet. try again in 30 days (which is what i will do) and hopefully you and i will get credit just like everybody else. keep smiling and have a wonderful weekend.

There's another offer I've never done because they require you to put your SSN in. After reading here, I figured I would try the Nationwide one and if it wouldn't let me skip the SSN and leave it blank, then I'd be done with it. Fortunately, they did let me skip that part. I think my current insurance is still better too.
