    Default Ice Tea & Computers

I did that Ice Tea one yesterday and when it didn't go back to the Sunshine page I was not happy. I ended up doing another one, but I hated wasting an hour on the computer for .80. I wish I had checked this thread first but couldn't remember where it was at the time.

Also, last Saturday night (August 4th) my husband did one pretending to shop at CompUsa and another store and didn't get the Sunshine page either. I still haven't told him that we never got credit and I was too tired to go in and do another.

This is the first time I have ever had that happen. Beware of both of them!

Fortunately, I am still on track with 11 of 12 surveys done!

The Keynote ones you have to be really careful on because they have a hidden timer and I think they also have something that tells them if you really did everything it asked you to do. So if you do them too fast or don't really do what is asked exactly you won't get credit for them. In the event you get one of these and it gives you the congratulations page go back in and try to do another survey. The worst that can happen is you will get 2 survey credits that day.

He took over 30 minutes to do this survey. The "pretending" part was that he had to do everything to purchase a computer and stop just before entering our credit card and actually purchasing one. He's an "over thinker" when he does surveys and sits and thinks about every answer which is why it always takes him so long.

That was a Saturday night at 10:00 and I did see if I could go do another so I already assumed we wouldn't get credit but I was sooo tired that I couldn't stand the thought of sitting in front of the computer another 30 minutes.

I should have double checked by trying for another survey... but I didn't... If I get the congrats message, I feel confident that it went through...

I have taken that survey as well. 2 times in fact. Once for Best Buy and once for Wal-Mart. I didn't get credit for either one. And I did exactly as was requested in the survey and I did not rush through it. I avoid it like the plague now.

I think that would be a great idea. I have tried on and off all day to qualify for a survey and just could not get the green light. I just tried and got the iced tea on - I was so tempted to do it and see what happens but I know that I would be really mad if I did it and didn't get credit. So, I treid again and got a really painless survey about new and different alcholic products. I guess becasue we were just at a big party last weekend, I qualified. I wish I could get more of those kind.

So I put my zip code in correctly, but got routed to a survey that asked me specifically what province I'm in (and listed many places in Canada). I might be a short train trip away, but I'm not in Canada!

Survey, in case Tricia thinks Greenfield cares, is somewhere around here: http://surveys.surveys.com/scripts/MRWEBPL.DLL?ACTION
I have the opposite problem. Sometimes I'm at the end of the survey and it asks what State I'm in. So frustrating. Have done 5 in the last 5 days though. I've learned from you all to be persistent. (And I also had my BIL do a couple)

If you're doing a survey through zintelligence (or something like that) and you're being asked about camping, knives, oil and gas, fishing, bikes, and such...settle in with a coffee. It's a long one.

Oh, and when you get to the part where you're dragging and dropping brands you use into squares, and it doesn't look like it's working, hit "refresh". Of course, I don't KNOW that I'll get credit tomorrow for it, but it went through to SR and I've "exceeded" my limit, so it does SEEM like I've finished with it. Anyway, hitting refresh made each of those pages work, when they weren't working, so I'm suggesting that if they don't work for anyone else unlucky enough to get that survey.

And what is UP with the survey creators? Why do they think that just because you've HEARD of a product or brand, means you have an OPINION on it? It's really faulty logic that they use.
