Survey problems or questions etc.

just tried to do a bj for my ds and got an error message when i was about to start the survey. reported it to gf. just wanted to give everyone the heads up about this survey.

I too have had problems with the DS. I have been having trouble for a few days. Yesterday I had to report on 2 surveys and I just reported one today. I have completed all the other surveys without a problem. It seems to be running slow or something.

To those that have not reported errors before: I have not had the page info on most occasions when I report them and just put not sure in the box. I then describe in great detail what it was about, the different types of things it asked ect ect and have only once not received my credit for a reported error (i just forget to keep the page open in order to get the info). So...even if you didnt copy the last page you were on you might try and file if you remember what it was about.

I have reported errors with DS to GF and used to get credit always, but in the last 45 days. I know I have reported several and have never heard anything from them. I think they have changed hands.

My BIGGEST survey frustration/problem started with OTX and seems to be sneaking into all other surveys. They ask the same questions over and over.... meaning I try to start a survey ask a ton of questions about one subject such as: either about the type of car I drive (make, model, gas, oil, etc), or if I have a child (gender, age, race, availabilty to take survey), or makeup (types, do I wear, 25 different feelings about make-up etc) and after I answer a bunch of questions on any one of those subjects I get screened out, THEN when I try again it goes through all the same questions again. I can go through this routine as many as 5 - 10 times before I either Finally get a survey or get so frustrated I quit trying. I like the surveys and try to attempt them all each day but this new repetitive routine is making me crazy. It started with one company but I am seeing it pop up with others. Maybe I have just taken too many surveys....

MdCaterer-when i read your post about reporting errors to gf i looked back in my history and i haven't seen any credit for those since the end of august. u r right about some surveys asking the same questions over and over again but what i don't understand is when you go thru 6 or seven pages of qualifying questions and then they tell you they have no surveys available. maybe i too have taken too many surveys and they just ran out of surveys with my demos. i still keep plugging away as i do enjoy taking surveys and that's how i make the bulk of my money on sr.

Just a heads up for a SH survey - I was asked to print a channel guide for a survey about TV choices. The channel guide turned out to be sixteen pages long and in full color, and I ended up not needing it for the survey. I wasted a lot of printer ink since I didn't realize it would be so long - I should have been printing in draft mode.

I had that. I opened it up and kept window open without printing (I noticed how long it was). I still got credit without printing it.

It credited for me, too. In fact, it credited before it finished printing!

just spent 30 minutes on my ds about stereo headphones and speakers and when i went to submit it i got the following error message:

Sorry, but the system has encountered an internal error and cannot go on with the interview at this stage.

Trying to do a SH and I have my info entered, get through the questions, make it past the "I am not a robot" code screen, only to get this every time:

This happened twice earlier, then I went out for a while and I just got it another 3 times.

mmm611-i totally feel for u. i got that message all day sunday and for most of monday. what i did was waited a while after getting that message and tried again and was able to eventually get a sh. just take a deep breath, walk away from the computer for a little while and then try again. i promise it will get better. keep smiling and have a great day.
