 Jelly Belly BeanBoozled

Last month I saw an advertisement for Jelly Belly BeanBoozled jelly beans. They were selling them in particular for April Fools Day. Because my daughter and I have been reading the Harry Potter books (Bertie Botts Every Flavored Beans, anyone?), I decided to order a couple of boxes for the kids.

On April Fools morning, I asked the girls if they wanted some jelly beans with their breakfast. Of course they jumped at the chance for candy! But as they started eating them, they realized that the joke was on them. Every color of BeanBoozled jelly bean can be one of two flavors–delicious or gross. You may get Buttered Popcorn, or it may be Rotten Eggs. You might get lucky with Peach or not so lucky with Vomit. The list goes on and on.

The girls got such a kick out of it that they wanted to make a video of their taste test as soon as they got home from school. Notice that even though Jillian says how gross they are, she keeps eating them! You can also see from the other assortment of bags on the table that we love our Jelly Belly… especially the bulk bags of HodgePodge that you can get for about $3.00 a pound!

Check out the video and check out all of our Jelly Belly coupons and cash back at Sunshine Rewards.

    Thanks a ton!

  2. […] We checked out the Hot Topic site today and they have a whole section of licensed Harry Potter merchandise. One of my favorites is the bag of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavored Beans. (My daughter did a video of some of the similar Jelly Belly beans if you want to see what they are li….) […]

The video was so great with Jillian trying not to spit them out or swallow them. She did a good job: better then I did. I ran to the sink to empty the gross vomit one.

My kids loved these, but it wasn’t the flavor. They loved the reaction they got from their friends. These beans and the dare to try them were a huge hit in our neighborhood!

Oh Jill, sorry you got all the crappy ones, now tell your mom to let you have the good bag….give the other ones to your dad.
