Vogue Wigs Video Review

Published by at 3:24 pm under Beauty and Fashion

I have to say at the start that I am terrible at anything related to hair! I have two styles–scrunched up, air-dried natural curl and poker straight with a flat iron. I can’t do up-dos of any kind and my ponytail is so fine and limp that I’m too embarrassed to ever let people see it. So I was intrigued when Vogue Wigs offered to send me a product to try. Because I’m considering dressing up as Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood for Halloween, I decided to try this Wrap Around Pony:

In the video below you can see how incredibly easy it was for me to integrate the wig into my own hair. The color match is almost perfect, and all I did to figure out which one to get was to look really closely at the color samples on the Vogue Wigs website and read the descriptions. It took me less than a minute to snap the wrap into my hair and pin it. Although I didn’t show it in the video, I could have used my curling iron or flat iron to add some wave to the ponytail when I was done.

Whether you are looking for a full wig, bangs, extensions, or a wrap like the one I tried out, Vogue Wigs has a huge selection. It’s really amazing to me how real the hair looks. I’ve had “costume” wigs before that were clearly fake and honestly a little tacky. My own daughter didn’t realize that I was wearing this one!
