Daily Survey Announcement

The bad news is that Daily Surveys is a lot of what pays the bills for SR. We give back most of what we get in shopping (for a lot of stores, we actually pay back 100%). We actually take a loss on the Sunshine Scratch Off and Paid Clicks. That leaves Daily Surveys and Offers. Offers are slooooow this time of year. And we only get so many new ones a month. So the Daily Surveys pay for a good part of the site. As much as I want to just tell of Greenfield right now, they know they have me stuck.

And I just got the list of "fraudulent" addresses. I am appalled. I mean, speechless. I immediately responded that I wanted to talk to them. I'll let you know what I found out. But to say that they are really overreaching would be a drastic understatement.

That's what makes me mad, as OP's have said they congrulate you on the amount of traffic we bring, but now that their getting slapped they need to pass the buck. On one hand they have been the bulk of my credits, bc I can qualify for many, on the other I want to say forget it, I'm done.... BUT knowing that this is the BULK of SR's income, and not wanting to see SR suffer, I would continue back to doing them AS LONG as they have a CLEAR guidelines as to what is acceptable!!!! I did not feel along the way at all I was cheating by using a different email or taking a survey that was almost similar but slightly different, or having DH take one. So once they "let" me back on I would still do them in the best interest of SR!

How does OTX compare to GF for SR making $$. Is there another survey company that we could use for the daily survey to start generating income for SR? I hate to see SR suffer because of all of this. I'm continuing with the OTX surveys but if there is something else you want us to try, I'm sure we are willing.

It really would be good if you could get them to clarify what exactly we were doing that was "wrong".

If we truly are multiple people (adults) that is it wrong for more than one of us to do the surveys? At that point do we not want to use different addresses?

As far as doing a survey twice should there system not catch that? I am lucky if I remember to pay the bills and take my medicine. I can't possibly remember what surveys I have taken and what surveys I have not.

This is very upsetting. None of us what to be scolded for doing what we thought was "ok". Its also very upsetting to be scolded and not told exactly why.

As far as I can tell from "the list", anyone that used three or more email addresses in the last month was pegged as "fraudulent." Period. Even if you have a perfectly legitimate reason for using 3 email addresses. That is what makes me REALLY mad.

Right now we get OTX through a third party, so we get paid less per survey. But I can't help but think that if we could work with them directly, we would get paid more. We are definitely pursuing this.

That is enlightening since that is pretty much what most of us have been doing.

OTX surveys are not kind to me b/c almost all of them have the "does anyone in your family work for the media" question." I try every day but usually get about one a week.

If OTX would work for SR, I promise to keep trying really hard.

As annoyed as I am with GF, I definitely appreciate your perspective, Tricia.

Maybe when you speak with them you can explain what they see as "fraud" was really a matter of "misunderstandings" on everyone's part here about the rules. I feel really confident that when SR members actually have some clear guidance on what is expected, these issues will cease to exist.

I know I was one of those people re-trying "free offers" every few days if I didn't get credit. Now that I know I need to wait a month, I just keep them in my pending file... no big deal.

Hope you are able to work out our differences with GF and get those of us who've been barred, reinstated... for everyone's sake!

I have only ever used 2 emails for the surveys. Ever. And I think I am on their "list". So I wonder if there is more to it then that.
