Win a BookSwim.com Membership at Sunshine Rewards
We’re always excited when we introduce a new merchant at Sunshine Rewards but even more exciting when we can do it with a contest! SR has partnered with our newest merchant, BookSwim.com, to give you a chance to win a membership for yourself AND a friend!
What is BookSwim? It’s often called “Netflix” for books but that’s completely do it justice. BookSwim is a membership based service that allows you to rent books for as long as you want. You simply choose the monthly plan that works best for you and then visit their site to start queuing up your books. They will then send the books to you from your list. Take as long as you want to read them and after you return them, they will send you more. It’s a perfect solution for people who love to read but are tired of paying $10-30 per book. Unlike the library, you won’t be on wait lists for months just to get new releases. And now on with the contest!
The prize: A 2-month membership to BookSwim.com for both you AND your nominee (plan will be the 3 books at a time plan given as a $50 gift card).
To enter:
1) Leave a comment below telling us who you know that deserves a BookSwim membership and why (one entry).
2) Twitter about the contest and leave a comment below with your Tweet (one entry).
3) Post this contest on Facebook and leave a comment below with what you posted (one entry).
4) Blog about this contest and leave your link to the post below (two entries).

I would nominate my neighbor. She is always so helpful to us when we need her, and loves to read.
Shared on Facebook, but I’m not sure how to get the exact link to the post: http://www.facebook.com/catharine.small

I nominate my mother for this membership. She’s truely one of the hardest working people that I know and she NEVER takes time for herself. She has an extremely demanding full-time job on top of keeping up with her 3 grown children and her grandson, caring for her elderly father, and somehow keeping a clean home with a home cooked meal on the table almost every night. 🙂 Having this membership and a new book in front of her without having to go out and actively seek a book may help her to relax and unwind a bit. Hopefully this would help her realize it’s ok to have “ME” time!

I nominate my friend Cate! We are both avid Sunshine Rewards members and both avid book readers. Not only do we love to read but we both love to share our book reviews with our blog readers. I have a hard time finding the time to look for new books and order them because of having three children. Bookswim would help alleviate this problem since I could fill up my list and sit back and let the books come to me. Cate is newly married and just got a new job so time and finances aren’t always available. We both love books and we both love SR so this contest is amazing to us!
my daugter the best
I would nominate my Mother also. She is 88 and loves to read. She has been an avid reader all her life. She always is traveling to and from the Library and has 2 or 3 books beside her bed. Late at night when she can’t sleep, she is reading! I think this service is perfect for her because the books will come to her!
This is really hard to choose, but I would have to say my daughter. She’s a college student with an infant and between both of those things and work, she doesn’t have time to always get to a library.
I nominate my mom! She loves to read but her bookshelves are overflowing! A membership like this would allow her to continue reading as much as she does, but without the waste of buying books for one use. She would love that she can have as much time as she needs to read the books, so that when life gets in the way she doesn’t have to worry about deadlines and fees.
I nominate my daughter Lori. She loves to read but has limited time to get out to the book store because of her busy schedule. I think this would be an ideal solution for her.
I nominate my mother as well as my daughter. My mother favorite passtime is to read and she has gotten so many in our family involved in reading and bettering themselves by reading. My 4 year olds favorite activity to do is read…when she isnt at school or sleeping she always has a book in hand.

Commented on facebook…don’t know how to give the link, but it’s there.
I would nominate my grandmother, Lettie. First because she’s such a wonderful person and been there for me so much over my lifetime, but I would nominate her specifically for this because she has always loved to read my entire life, but now that she’s in her 70’s and on limited income. In the last 10 years, she’s only read books she picked up at garage sales or Good Will – which all tend to be really out of date. She wouldn’t know what to do being able to read newer books. It would be a dream come true for her.
My daughter, Ashley, would make a perfect winner. As a child she always said the library was her favorite place. Today, as an adult, she still says the same. We just returned from vacation. She said she was having withdrawal, so off to the bookstore we went where she bought a new stack of books. This was despite the fact that she had brought books with her. She reads every day and from a wide variety of genres.
I WOULD LIKE TO NOMINATE MY DAUGHTER Zela. She is a new wife, who loves to read, tries to make use of the library, but between work and the long lines it is hard for her to get the books she wants.
I shared this contest on Facebook here:

I nominate my friend Cami. We are both disabled and on limited incomes. Our children love to read so we take turns buying books. They are usually chapter books. Right now we are nearing the end of The Magic Treehouse Series. This would help our children (and us) have more options during the summer!
Thank You!

I love to read
I nominate my mother. She is an avid reader who gets books at the library, but also often buys them at Barnes and Noble or Borders. It is typical for her to read three books a week. As she uses reading as a way to unwind from her busy schedule of being on the board of our local soup kitchen, delivering food for our town’s food pantry, and volunteering at a charity thrift shop. I believe she would love this prize.
