Jelly Belly Chocolate Dipped Candy Review

Published by under Food and Drink Reviews

Jelly Belly is branching out! Although they are best known for their jelly beans, they have been taking their candies to a new level by dipping them in chocolate. Chocolate covered jelly beans and orange slices? If you know me, you know that I am a chocoholic and these are right up my alley.

The Jelly Belly Chocolate Dips are various flavors of jelly beans dipped in chocolate. Flavor choices right now are mint, coconut, orange, raspberry, strawberry, and very cherry. You can buy them in individual flavor bags or the combination gift box seen here:

The consistency of the dipped jelly bean is a little bit like a chocolate covered raisin or chocolate covered dry cherry only with a yummy flavored jelly bean on the inside rather than a dried out grape.

The Dark Chocolate Orange Slices are Sunkist naturally flavored candy orange slices (made with orange juice) and are also covered in dark chocolate. These aren’t the sugary cheap orange slices that you get at the gas station but rather the juicy ones that actually taste like an orange.

You can order both chocolate dipped products from the Jelly Belly website in different combinations and sizes. You’ll get the best prices when you buy in bulk. You can find Jelly Belly coupons and cash back at Sunshine Rewards.

Hidden Expedition Amazon Game Only $1.99 Today

I’m addicted to Big Fish Games. There…I admitted it. They have just the kind of games that appeal to me. The games are more about using your mind to solve puzzles than memorizing 6 different buttons to push at the same time that you move your joystick and pull a trigger.

For the next 48 hours you can download one of their best selling adventure games, Hidden Expedition Amazon, for only $1.99. The CD of this game usually sells on Amazon for $11.88 PLUS shipping. You can download the game from Big Fish immediately and play it for less than 2 bucks. You can even try their games for free before you commit to buying them.

If you would like to get a look at the game before you download it, check out the Amazon video below. This price ends on July 16 so take advantage quickly! Be sure to use coupon code hidden199.

Get the New Justin Bieber Perfume

Published by under Beauty and Fashion

Justin Bieber Perfume

Justin Bieber Perfume (Someday)

Love him or hate him, everything that Justin Bieber does gets a lot of attention. His new perfume release, Someday, is being called the hottest fragrance of the summer. In its heart/rose shaped bottle with a commercial that makes little girls think Justin will magically appear when they use the perfume, it’s definitely getting a lot of attention.

The Justin Bieber perfume bills itself as “a chance to get one step closer to Justin. It’s a fragrance he can’t get enough of and can’t stay away from, making those who wear it irresistible.” A more helpful description is that it has notes of mandarin, juicy pear, wild berry, jasmine, creamy florals, and vanilla musk.

One thing that is impressive is that through Give Back Brands, all of the proceeds of the sale of Someday by Justin Bieber go to charity.

Where can you find it? Right now we are seeing it at most of the major department stores (Macys, Nordstrom, Dillards) plus cosmetic stores like Ulta and Sephora. The smallest purse spray is $18 and the largest 3.4oz bottle is $55. It looks like the price is the same no matter where you go. You can also throw in some “Fragranced Hair Mist” or “Shimmering Body Lotion.”

Check out the Justin Bieber perfume commercial below and visit one of these merchants to order:

Last Minute Father’s Day Gifts (Podcast)

[display_podcast]
Father’s Day is a little over a week away, which means that there is still time to order some great gifts for dad. Even if you are listening to our podcast a couple of days before Father’s Day, we’ve got some tips for gifts that will get to dad in time while not breaking your bank.

Show Notes:

  • Electronics and Gadgets are still some of the most popular gifts for Father’s Day. You can get them quickly by using Amazon Prime or shopping online somewhere like Best Buy and picking up in-store. Roku is big in addition to Kindles. If you have a little more time, Paul’s TV has some amazing deals on televisions. Vann’s is also a good choice for a wide variety of gifts and great customer service.
  • If dad is into gaming, check out Gamestop for some good deals on games.
  • You can’t go wrong with food and drink gifts. Omaha Steaks is a favorite for most dads and you will get the most bang for your buck if you order one of the packages and meet the minimum for free shipping. Spend the extra money on food rather than FedEx. (Get our latest Omaha Steaks free shipping deal)
  • Popcorn is popular and there are a wide variety of merchants to choose from depending on what you want to spend. Some of our favorites are Popcorn Factory, Popcornopolis, Dale and Thomas, and Garrett Popcorn.
  • Coffees of Hawaii is a little more exotic for the coffee-drinking dad. Choose from one-time purchase or a coffee delivery service. (Sunshine Rewards has a limited time cash back increase plus Coffees of Hawaii coupons)
  • Two of Ashleigh’s favorites are Harry & David and My Wines Direct. Both are featuring specials right now for Father’s Day.
  • If dad is into sports, Football Fanatics does 3-day shipping on all of their orders for $4.99. Their merchandise is not limited to football, and you can find professional as well as college teams.
  • Event tickets are great if he loves live sports. Plus, you are creating an experience or a memory out of the gift. Many of the merchants are not working with cash back or coupon sites anymore so it is harder to get “deals” but if you watch eBay, StubHub, and Ticket Liquidators frequently you might get lucky.

Don’t forget that you can get cash back and coupons from Sunshine Rewards for almost all of the merchants that we talked about in the podcast.

Tricia’s on vacation most of the rest of the month so watch for the next podcast in early July. Unbelievably, we will already be looking at back to school purchases.
