We were lucky enough to get a box in the mail from SmileyCookie.com this week. I was particularly excited because I am from Pittsburgh and have not had the Smiley Cookies from Eat’ n Park in a long time. I realized that my kids have never had them! It was such a treat to share with them the “Steeler Cookies.” But even if you are not a Steelers (or Pirates) fan, you can still enjoy the Smiley Cookies because they are customizable!
The original Smiley Cookies are round, but they do have shapes like stars and flowers year round in addition to special shapes for holidays (I think trees are on their way soon). You can customize the color of the background icing as well as the Smiley color. These would be perfect for any team or school or even just the favorite colors of a birthday boy or girl.
Smiley Cookies are hand-made and make a perfect gift for any occasion. I love that they come in a happy looking box! They run specials all the time and you can send a gift for as little as $12.99. Check out Sunshine Rewards for Smiley Cookie coupons and discounts plus cash back! And check out our video below to see what Jillian and Cassie think about them.
Sunshine Rewards is excited to bring you an exclusive deal on Big Fish Games. Whether you enjoy time management, hidden object, puzzle, matching, arcade, strategy, word, marble, brain teaser, kid games or more, you will find a game that you love at Big Fish Games. They are so sure of this that you can try out any game for FREE! But Sunshine Rewards members get an even better opportunity….
From now through Monday (November 8), new customers can use the code “sunshinegame” (without quotes) to buy the full version of any standard game (excludes collector’s editions) for only $2.99. Plus, all Sunshine Rewards members will get an increased cash back of 20%. That’s a savings of up to 73%. And because you can download the game immediately, there is no shipping charge. Many of the games on Big Fish sell on Amazon for upwards of $20.
Even if you are not usually a “gamer,” I challenge you to give Big Fish Games a try this weekend. I can personally say that after trying just one game, I ended up loving them and my whole family is now all playing their games. There are no advertisements on the games and they are completely safe to download. If you need some ideas of which games to get started with, here are some favorites from Big Fish Game players as well as our own Sunshine Rewards members:
Effective November, Cindy has made the decision to retire from Sunshine Rewards. After working at the company for over 3 years, attending many conferences and meetups, appearing in countless videos, and adding thousands and thousands of coupons, she has decided that it is time to move on. You’ll still see Cindy around as a member and may even see her doing some blogging. However, she will be transitioning over her official responsibilities in the coming days.
In the meantime, you can contact me (Tricia) with anything you need. I’ll be working on getting some staffing help soon because MeyerTech, LLC, continues to grow with each passing month and I definitely can’t do it all myself. Cindy will definitely be missed by everyone.
Halloween is only a couple of weeks away, and Halloween shopping is in full swing. Besides the obvious (costumes), people are scooping up Halloween decor and treats. Cindy and I review Halloween merchants and tell you where you can get some of the best deals and unique items (even places that are not known for their Halloween merchandise).
Show Notes:
Cindy and I wing it this week by not planning out in advance what they are going to talk about. That itself is scary.
You can spend some big money on spooky Halloween decorations. Look for coupons!
The Grim Reaper from SpiritHalloween.com really scares Tricia, and you can see a video of it here. (Someone should buy Cindy the life-size Jason or the Crawling Girl to freak her out)
Congrats to BuyCostumes.com on their Commission Junction University win! Be sure to check out their deals under $10.
Some popular costumes this year that Tricia has been working on promoting are Sookie Stackhouse, the Smurfs, and Wizards of Waverly Place. Twilight is still hot.
A fun place to get candy for an adult Halloween party is Old Time Candy because they have candy by decades.
Want to have some fun with the neighborhood kids? The Animated Rise From the Grave Grim Reaper is sure to scare even the most fearless victim.
