I just got a DS about OTC cold meds. It was to be a 30 minute survey and about 20 minutes into it I got a fatal error screen. Tried refreshing, going back, but nothing worked, so had to close out. Hope no one else gets it.

I was doing the DS for 2 cents and it switched me to IPSOS for some kind of baby boomer panel survery thing  So is this a SR credit or just a try and hook you into something else kind of thing??
DH got the baby boomer thing yesterday and we are waiting to see if it credits as a DS
DH just finished a fairly long one about an upcoming kids movie. Got all the way to the end was thanked but it did bot go back to SR. We are guessing it will not credit but there are no surveys available.....has anyone else maybe completed this one and gotten or not gotten credit??
No, I do not believe those survey credit, so I have learned anytime its a movie survey that starts out with okay I agree page, also ask for kids 6-12, 7-11, 13-17 never do go back, and do not credit. GF has been using these surveys for a long time, many posts have been noted here, they never go back and to my knowledge do not credit. I leave them alone. We have all got burnt with this survey, and it seems every weekend they are there, and of course there are no others one to take.

I got it again this morning on 2 cents. It seems as if they purposefully survey people as freebies without saying so every so often.
I just got a DS that invited you to become a part of a survey panel group (not the baby boomer one), but for cell phones. There was an actual survey, but it did not go back to the SR congrats page.
Ugh. I just finished that one. It was a DS that was hosted by another survey site to join a cell phone panel. I didn't get taken back to SR either. :(
I feel like applying for a job at Greenfield so I can work out all these glitches, so every survey will work perfect and every completed survey will credit. I will be the best customer service rep you ever had, LOL.
I just took one through GF that was a Decipher survey for a new menu item at a fast food restaurant. The Decipher ones are the ones that have a reset and a continue button on the bottom of each page. I got 66% of it completed and then it booted me back to the beginning! I did not hit that reset button myself (which only resets the page not the whole survey)! I should have just closed it out when I saw who it was, as I have been burned by Decipher surveys that reset before. :headache:
Did you report the issue through the link on the DS main page? If it is a common issue for those types of surveys to reset then GF needs to know so that they can pull the offer or fix them.
Thought I'd give a heads up for a 2 Cents Survey on new names for an OTC cold product. The survey was fine, on the last page I enter my stats and the LAST question is "do you want to join a panel on OTC meds?" and I say "no" and click submit survey and get "sorry, you don't qualify for this survey". WHAT?? Because I don't want to join another panel?
I refreshed the page and get "we are having technical difficulties at this time" - so I'm posting in the tech issues thread, LOL.
Awesome! Hopefully that one will get pulled today before too many more people get stuck by it! Thanks for the heads up.
That's exactly the same thing that happened to me, BUT it was a the Greenfield survey not a 2 cents. This is what I got when I clicked that I did not want to be part of a panel. So basically they have the survey on both of GF and 2C and don't pay for either.

I've reported the panel issue to my contact at GF as well.
I wish I read this first, the same thing just happend to me.
I was into a petfood survey when all of a sudden it took me back to the beginning. I did send greenfield am email.
Once again went all the way through a survey on phone and cell phones and satelitie companies and it still didn't take me back to the sunshine rewards page.

I was going through old emails from when I was at DLR, and I saw this one. Thank goodness!
The activeX or Java...would that be something your "computer" is telling you to download, or would it be in the wording of the survey. Because *before* I remember that you told us pretty clearly that they didn't want us downloading any sort of software, and that's what I've been going off of. I've never been prompted to download a toolbar at all, but software yes, and that's what you were worried about *before*.
So this has changed? (sometimes I need things spelled out for me one more time than normal people do) I'm still not downloading anything (even though I have one of those nearly impervious Macs), but I'll stop reporting 'em.
The survey company itself should not be telling you to download any kind of software from them. But if your computer does not have something downloaded that is a common plugin, you may need to download it (like ActiveX).
i don't know if this is a technical issue or not but i thot i would report this here anyway. did my ds this morning on civil rights thru psb and finished it and got the cache-no cache page. whenever that has happened b4 all i had to do was hit refresh and i would get the congrats page but not this morning. when i hit refresh this morning it took me back to the beginning of the survey again. did manage to complete it the 2nd time around and got the congrats page. wanted to give everyone the heads up about this survey. HTH.:sunshine:
i just did a ds on investing and when i clicked submit got the cache-no cache page so i refreshed the page and instead of getting the congrats page it went back to the beginning of the survey. did the survey for a 2nd time and the same thing happened again (spent almost an hour on this). reported the original survey link to gf thru the sr page so hopefully they will either fix this or pull it. just thought i would give everyone the heads up about this survey if you should get it. HTH.:sunshine:
i got a survey this morning that said it was a neurological study for me and my child to fill out. about 10 minutes in, it asked me to evaluate my daughter on certain traits, and i did, but when i clicked the arrow button, it told me i needed to specify in the boxes for certain answers, which i did, and clicked the arrow button once again-then it told me not to specify for those answers! i went round & round with it a couple of times and had no choice but to give up. now i have no options :( so anyone who gets this survey, beware, you can't win.
no, i had no link to report :( and the survey wouldn't go back to the previous page either.
What I do, is I open another window - go to SR - there is a link on the survey page - click on that - copy the URL for the bad page - put it on the problem reporting page - there is a space to describe the problem and then submit to Greenfield.
Maybe try that next time.
Anyone know if the movie surveys go to the congrats page yet or not? Rhe ones that ask child 6-12 or 13-17 then just give the white page at the end. It never works for me and they are my only options today, I am not wasting my time unless it works. Thanks for any help.

i just got a survey about a new CGI movie from a company we all love, sat through a 4 minute preview TWICE and answered tons of questions only to get a generic white thank-you page at the end. i'm STEAMED! this is the 2nd time i've been hosed today, not cool Greenfield.
If you finish the survey - I have reported the problem to Greenfield and I received an extra credit a few days later - I'm not 100% sure that it was for that survey but it's the only one I didn't get credit for. You can always come back during the day and try for another survey after you finish the movie survey.
