I just got a DS that invited you to become a part of a survey panel group (not the baby boomer one), but for cell phones. There was an actual survey, but it did not go back to the SR congrats page.

Ugh. I just finished that one. It was a DS that was hosted by another survey site to join a cell phone panel. I didn't get taken back to SR either. :(

I feel like applying for a job at Greenfield so I can work out all these glitches, so every survey will work perfect and every completed survey will credit. I will be the best customer service rep you ever had, LOL.

I just took one through GF that was a Decipher survey for a new menu item at a fast food restaurant. The Decipher ones are the ones that have a reset and a continue button on the bottom of each page. I got 66% of it completed and then it booted me back to the beginning! I did not hit that reset button myself (which only resets the page not the whole survey)! I should have just closed it out when I saw who it was, as I have been burned by Decipher surveys that reset before. :headache:

That's exactly the same thing that happened to me, BUT it was a the Greenfield survey not a 2 cents. This is what I got when I clicked that I did not want to be part of a panel. So basically they have the survey on both of GF and 2C and don't pay for either.

The same thing happened to me on the cold product survey.

I just had a problem on a fast food one too. I took my time, read all the questions then got the "sorry you don't qualify for this survey" after finishing the survey.:computer:

Some of you have been reporting that you stopped a survey because it wanted you to "download something" but it was not a toolabr of any kind. Rather, it was ActiveX or java or something that your browser needed to be able to view all of the aspects of the survey. This is not the same. The only thing that they should not be asking you to download are toolbars.

I was going through old emails from when I was at DLR, and I saw this one. Thank goodness!

The activeX or Java...would that be something your "computer" is telling you to download, or would it be in the wording of the survey. Because *before* I remember that you told us pretty clearly that they didn't want us downloading any sort of software, and that's what I've been going off of. I've never been prompted to download a toolbar at all, but software yes, and that's what you were worried about *before*.

So this has changed? (sometimes I need things spelled out for me one more time than normal people do) I'm still not downloading anything (even though I have one of those nearly impervious Macs), but I'll stop reporting 'em.

The survey company itself should not be telling you to download any kind of software from them. But if your computer does not have something downloaded that is a common plugin, you may need to download it (like ActiveX).

i don't know if this is a technical issue or not but i thot i would report this here anyway. did my ds this morning on civil rights thru psb and finished it and got the cache-no cache page. whenever that has happened b4 all i had to do was hit refresh and i would get the congrats page but not this morning. when i hit refresh this morning it took me back to the beginning of the survey again. did manage to complete it the 2nd time around and got the congrats page. wanted to give everyone the heads up about this survey. I just got the same survey and had no issues, so it must have just been at that particular time. Thanks for the heads up though bc I made sure I was very careful when I neared the end in case I had to "refresh" or something.

What I do, is I open another window - go to SR - there is a link on the survey page - click on that - copy the URL for the bad page - put it on the problem reporting page - there is a space to describe the problem and then submit to Greenfield.

Maybe try that next time.

If you finish the survey - I have reported the problem to Greenfield and I received an extra credit a few days later - I'm not 100% sure that it was for that survey but it's the only one I didn't get credit for. You can always come back during the day and try for another survey after you finish the movie survey.

Just happened to me twice on Greenfield '2 Cents' , and I did report it the second time. I know there will be no credit, so I just completed another one and received credit just after the hour.

That happened to me the other day. I was able to get a survey later, but not for what had been checked off before. I figured something else in my demos that GF was already given was not what they were looking for. Hope you've had better luck by now!

yes, I did get lucky and got one a little bit ago but not either of those checked ones, same thing happened yesterday. I even tried unchecking them to see if I could get one, nope. All is well that ends well! :D

At the bottom of the Greenfield page there is a link to click that says "Click here to report a problem with a survey". Once you click on that, you need to enter the URL, a copy of the page where the problem occured (if you can), and a description of the survey. You might not get credit now, but mystery credits have been known to appear! HTH

I've had this problem all day :( I would love to know why it won't let us take suveys that are checked and seem to be qualified for, I'm usually lucky and end up getting another at some point but today so far doesn't look like there are going to be anymore options.

I'm so glad you posted this! I've gotten that question twice before, weeks in between and as soon as I answer it, like you, (I think I know what day it was yesterday), I have gotten the boot both times. I wonder what day they want it to be! :rotfl: Wonder what that survey is about.

I just tried and they asked what day was yesterday. Now I know it's Monday because I have to work today. Except when I said yesterday was Sunday I got the boot too.

I have never been able to go further in a study when they ask that question. At first I wondered if it was an east vs west coast time zone issue, but the last couple times it's right in the middle of the day, and unless I was in Asia or some other place it shouldn't be an issue...but I've never gone further once they ask that question.

i don't know if this is a technical issue but here goes. for some reason gf surveys are not loading at all. the page for the ds does not come up all the way and when i click in the middle of the page for the box a white screen comes up saying the page cannot be displayed. maybe gf is down this morning or something?:confused:

The Greenfield daily survey is at it again with the NON crediting movie survey which doesn't redirect you back to SR. I just got the generic thank you screen, so I reported it using the link found on the Daily Survey page. :(

Don't forget that if you get a generic "thank you" page at the end of a survey, Greenfield will NOT pay us for the survey when you report it because they assume that it is one of the surveys that is going to have credits imported at a later time. It's only if you have a technical problem with the survey that they will investigate for possible payment.

Unfortunately, no. Because those go through another company and not our direct relationship with Greenfield. It's the downside of going through the third party for the second survey opportunity. It's the same company that we run OTX through, and you know how much trouble we have had with them on that. :(

NO they should take you back, if they don't then it won't credit on Monday.

Now I'm mad...I got a new Greenfield survey, that doesn't credit, in addition to the Movie ones! This survey is the one that you load many short commercial videos and answer questions about different products and choose which ones you will put in your 'gift basket' etc. These are usually long but always credit. Until today. I went to the end after 25 min. and answered the last question, when I got not only the generic thank you page, but also the 'You don't qualify for this survey ' deal!! :(

Got a long one that was primarily about skin care for my SM survey - answered all the questions (20 minutes) and got the dreaded white screen "you do not qualify." Watch out for this one.:computer::computer:

whenever i get the white generic thank you page instead of the congrats page i always report that problem to gf. by reporting this you are letting them know that there is a problem and that they need to correct it. i agree that there have been way too many of these kind of surveys lately (i had 3 today for my sm survey) and got the white you don't qualify screen. who knows, maybe one day there won't be this kind of movie survey anymore and gf surveys will always take us back to the congrats page. :rotfl:

just a heads up...that new movie from our favorite company that was giving us a generic thank you page instead of the congrats page a few days ago? well, there's a survey out there for the kids about this same movie now, and it doesn't give the congrats page either. DD just spent 15 minutes on it. i reported it to greenfield.

This one keeps coming up. It asks if you are a PARENT of a child between 5 -12 and then a bunch of other questions, then it says you are qualified to take the survey, but everytime it gets to the part where you give the age and gender of the child it says "you do not qualify" and you have no way to return to SR. Then when he did go back to SR and try another daily survey the same movie one came up two more times! This seems to be some kind of a glitch.

I maybe should have been a little clearer. GF assures SR that if we don't complete and get congrats screen they don't count that as a completed survey either. GF has been pretty good about making restitution for bad surveys'. So if we're getting kicked out (yes it stinks, happens to me) late in a survey saying we don't qualify or error out, GF isn't counting the data.

I had the exact same problem. It wouldn't accept any amount I put in. The worst part is is that this question is near the end of the survey, I was probably 90% complete per the completion bar.

I know. That was the worst part when I saw the bar near the end. :headache: I was able to report it, so hopefully it will get fixed! I actually had trouble getting a survey, kept getting booted, but finally just finished one. I hope you have had luck, too!

Whenever I get booted from surveys, and believe me, I have had my share, at the beginning, middle and close to the end, I think about surveygate and when I was one of the people banned from surveys.I didn't knowingly do anything wrong, but none the less I was banned. Not only did I miss taking surveys A LOT, but also the bump in my account. When I think about no surveys it sometimes helps me swallow getting booted. Maybe that will help others too.

On a positive note, I had tons of options today! :clap: Hope everyone who tries can get a survey today. Good luck!

I just finished a DS and no issues. I do not understand how the problem is happening. I did mine yesterday about 11:30a and it was fine, after reading here, I was checking on and off thru the evening, I would it the regular link at times, but more times than not I would get the survey router page. I do not think it has anything to do with cookies, it seems to be a issue with GF. They send me surveys in my email, I tried to see if I could get one with the email about 11pm it took me to the survey router page, then I tried around 12a and it worked fine. It makes no sense if there is a problem, how does it come and go as it was yesterday? Hopefully Trish will give us some news this am about the situation.

I did get all the way through with one on use of cell phones for sending inappropriate text only to get throw out at the VERY END when it asked for my zip code!!:headache:

Nope completed a DS & SM survey yesterday and was able to try today using IE with no problems. Only ever used IE, so that's not it.

weren't you having issues before with trying to get a survey and it turned out to be something on your pc?I remember it was someon and thought it was you bc then sqromano was having the same problem and used the suggestion to clean it up to get back to doing DS. This came to me yesterday when people were still having problems getting a DS when myself and others could do it without a problem.

It really sounds like something is grabbing the cookies or doing something if it's not even allowing you to put your demo's in.

I got the dreaded white page at the end of survey on shopping for consumer electronics. This has been a really tough month for me with surveys -- I'm just amazed to see all those people who're getting three day after day. I'm averaging well under one a day.

I got that one, too. I was pretty annoyed because I had already spent so much time! It never took me back to the SR page saying I didn't qualify. I have had this happen a couple times over the past few days. :headache:

DS's for yesterday haven't credited yet today. I would check back around 1230. They credit the next day. OTX not sure, have you cleared cookies since the last time you took one?

I hit 9 DS and havent gotten one since for the month. I just took two that took me 15 mins each one even went through the classification stuff at the end said thank you and then boom do not qualify. I am a little sad.

Hmmm, if it was the same fav retail store of mine I just took it and was able to complete it and get the congratulations page. I had to watch an ad and evaluate it.

I am not sure I am asking this ? right or not. The last couple of days when I try to get DS, its goes fast to no surveys, without the hour glass even taking any time at all. I am thinking GF closes surveys off until a certain time of day. Is anyone else having this problem. Also then at 8 pm at night all of a sudden there are options for me. Anyone with any feedback or knows something that I do not, is helpful. Thanks for any help.

It's Saturday morning, and Greenfield DS is LOADED with blank white screen, NON crediting surveys again this weekend. It seems [at least for us] the ones for kids, are notorious for taking your time and not crediting. :(

Just got this one for my 2 cents survey. Sheesh.........I'm sure it won't credit since it didn't go to the congrats page. Can you report 2 cent surveys through the regular DS link? Just in case, I saved the URL of the last page of the survey:

no I've taken brainjuice survey's before and they credit just fine. Just another 3rd party GF works with. IT may just have been that particular survey.

I just took a Brain Juicer survey on side dishes. I got about half way through (46% on their meter), and I was not able to view the last of a list of statements that I had to evaluate. The last entry was apparently underneath the border surrounding the Next button (if that makes sense). I wasn't able to scroll up or down, and I couldn't progress with the survey since I couldn't select an answer for the statement. I had to close out, but I did report it to GF.

I just got the side dish brain juicer too. I worked all the way through the survey for 30 minutes, the progress indicator said 98%, then I got a message that said they had already filled the quota for my demographics. :confused:

Maybe I'll try again later. These daily surveys are getting frustrating!

I'm wondering if maybe some of the tech errors with the survey are bc something isn't fully updated on the computer? i.e adobe, active control, flash player etc? I've seen it happen before, just a thought.

I just did the health one, but I doubt it will credit. Then I went back to the ds page and it took me to another Ipsos panel- this one was called Voice of America. I closed it out, no point in doing another one that probably won't credit. I think I will just try back later on!:rolleyes:

no friday or weekend survey credits yet, but that's not too unusual. i wouldn't worry just yet. i'm sure they'll post soon :sunshine2:

Yep I was signed in and everything. I had one 2cents and one DS that didn't credit. I guess stuff happens and I'm not going to stress about it. I'll just keep having fun here and trying for more stuff till I can get my disney gift card :)

Well I wouldn't stress about it but I would look in to why they aren't crediting. They are two totally different issues. YTC are tracked by cookies. I have found that I have to clear my cookies between doing the YTC and the Daily Survey because they are both greenfield surveys. DS are not tracked by cookies. As long as you are getting the SR Congrats screen you should be getting credit. If you aren't getting credit on a regular basis and this wasn't a one time fluke I would definitely start looking in to why. It is actually more common for YTC not to credit than DS because cookies can be erratic. Since DS's track by userid I am more concerned if you aren't getting credit for those on a regular basis.

Since I usually get the DS credit I"m going to just figure it was fluke and keep trying for more. As for the YTC, now that I think about I'm not positive that I did clear my cookies so that may be it.

Just did a survey on a new lip product from a well known manufacturer. Took the whole survey, clicked on the link, took me to the the page that said I didn't qualify, try another survey. I tried to backtrack and get the ending link of the survey, but my browser wouldn't let me. :(

I took the same one, it also did not work for me. It is not a time issue, I took over 10 minute break from it, had to help my Dad, this was over 30 minutes and after it ask you what scenes you did not find interesting, it takes you to sorry you did not qualify. I also could not report it, would not take you back to survey. GF gets there answers to there long surveys then kick you lot of time to the curb. I should of read this first and save myself the time and trouble.

I think I saw error messages from both the 9:30 run and the 12:30 run. It tries again at 3:30. If it errors out again, I'll manually do it.

I was doing an OTX about differnet types of computer mice/mouse and then it started asking if I was a homeowner, did I have children under 17, etc. etc. and then it went to a screen which said I had timed out. When I tried to refresh it just want to a blank screen. Very very weird!!!

When that happens to me, I open another window, log onto SR through that window, go to the GF report place, and then paste in the URL and ending page I got. Then I just sign out of SR from the new window and go back to using my other window. Works for me.
