I don't think I qualified for the survey.

What with all the error messages and the not being rerouted to SR, did anyone manage to get credit for a survey yesterday?

I had two surveys in a row take me all the way to the end and then not redirect to Sunshine. After that there was a big error message anytime I tried to take one, so I never got to. So long, perfect January....:(

yeah, I had tons of trouble, but finally managed to get one about skin care medications which credited!

Did manage to get one about computer operating systems/software after I got the boot numerous times; had one with internal application error (something like that), one said survey closed (why is it stll there then??!). Then finally got this one, which was long, but got the congrats page - whew!

This has been going on a few days. The rare times I do qualify for a survey and I've gone through a bit of it, like this time, I get a really vague "thank you for sharing your opinions with us" message, then click OK or next or whatever, and I'm on a pretty page with blue background, the upssurveyrouter URL, but it's OpinionSurveys, and is offering me another? survey.

It's confusing, and I don't know what it is doing. I haven't gone through before, because I do not know what it is.

But today I'm just frustrated, so it's sitting there, waiting for me, until I find out what on earth it is. Did the questions I answered lead me to it, and THIS is the survey I'll take (doesn't seem like it, it's asking the typical "do you have a blah blah blah" questions, just on a different-looking page)? Am I being routed away and this won't count for SR?

What IS this?

I got one yesterday that routed me to Inbox Dollars. I just close it and go back to Sunshine

Greenfield said that this is a HUGE error. If you ever get returned to another website, please do what you can....take a screen shot, get the URL, etc (maybe even go back a page and grab that URL). They will investigate immediately.

I just completed one that sent me to Opinion Surveys.
Here is the error message I received:

"Your request cannot be completed. The following error message was returned:

The survey you are requesting has already been taken on this workstation. The owner of this survey has indicated that it can only be taken once on each unique computer.
For questions regarding the survey you were attempting to complete, please contact the system administrator."

I hope that is enough proof that I did complete the survey. Of course there are now no other surveys for which I qualify.

Tricia, I sent you an email and reported it. Hope it helps!

Ooh. That's not good if you had NOT taken it already.

But then thinking of it being helpful in other situations...on one hand, if they do that, it's kind of cool, b/c we won't retake anything by accident.

On the other hand..."The owner of this survey has indicated that it can only be taken once on each unique computer." What's the point of having a FAMILY account, if it can't be taken by different people in the family? Don't they want each person's opinion? I mean, I don't like football but DH does, so our answers on a sports survey are going to be different, and getting both of our opinions will be more indicative of the country.

So they could break it down by profile...ooh but what if there are identical twins? Triplets? More? living in the house and old enough to take a survey? Different people, different opinions...same profile...

I think too much. (I also created surveys for a year in college and think that computers and surveys are a bad mix! Shh, I didn't say that)

Ok this has now happened twice, first last month with a survey to join a financial panel and today with a cosmetic and beauty products survey.

Both times I was thanked and then sent to this other survey site.

http://ups.surveyrouter.com/SurveyTrafficUI/STMUI/Page.aspx?c=cd2485&pgtid=19&ptid=18&utcoffset=4

Instead of taking me to "Get Paid to Take Surveys Online │ Sunshine Rewards" it takes me to "Get Paid to Take Surveys Online │ Opinions"

Does that mean this other company is getting our survey credits?

I reported it on the greenfield problem link on the survey page in December but never got credit or a response. should I fill out another?

I know we can not report OTX problems but I am hoping somwone has a solution. Every day I try to take an OTX but I keep getting surveys with videos. After the second video of every survey I take through them, the next button never links. I can see it but I can not press it. I am unable to finish the survey and have to close the window and log back into SR. Then I can not take another survey that day even after clearing cookies. Therefore, I can not take a survey.... Does this happen to everyone? Is there a fix?
Please help if you can!!!

I started a survey after work today, but was still at work. Couldn't finish it before I needed to leave so didn't close it out, just minimized it. When I got home I was able to finish and it did take me back to the SR congrats page, then of course it asked me to log in to my account, but AFTER finishing and the congrats page. Do you think this one will credit? I forgot to check the exceeded limit page before I cleared cookies to do a SM survey and an offer. I certainly don't want to do another survey if it will credit, but don't want to lose a survey day. Any tech people who know the answer? TIA:)

Just coming to post about this. After I completed the survey, I rec'd a thank you, but it did not take me back to SR. I refreshed the page and rec'd

You have already submitted this survey (key=13837 dt=1/12/2008 3:51:13 PM). If you would like to start from the beginning, please go to: http://vovici.com/wsb.dll/96560/CON-GIER12-07.htm?cacherefresh=2008011215521703* (SR)

(I used a star for the last number, I didn't know if I could post the whole link? I know the number so let me know if you need it posted)

Is this going to credit? Should I take another one?

I just stupidly tried to do some OTX ones. Kept getting disqualified. Finally did a game one and did the WHOLE thing. Got to the very end and the next screen said something like email to notify us of technical difficulty. I think this is a scam if this is happening to everyone. I mean, if we answer all the questions, they then just have to say there is a tech. diff. and don't have to pay for our time and answers, but still have our personal info.

today is definitely not my day for surveys - my whole household has tried but none of us can qualify for anything. i just attempted an otx survey on cigarettes, got through the whole thing, got a thank you and a page came up from global test market (another survey site) that said "sorry you don't qualify." what a crock that is after they got all my information and i spent about 20 minutes doing it. now when i try to do another otx survey it says i have reached my limit for the day and to try again tomorrow. I HATE OTX SURVEYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:

kayjo
01-13-2008, 05:23 PM
I agree with you about the OTX surveys. I just spent 30 minutes on an automobile ad survey for the MyThoughtsCount 1/13 survey. I got to the final classification questions, entered my age and hit submit. I was taken to a page that stated I had not answered some questions truthfully and therefore I was disqualified from the survey. I may not be thrilled with how old I am but I do not lie about anything including my age. I hadn't made any New Year's resolutions but I have changed my mind. I will no longer participate in any OTX surveys. My time is worth more than 70 cents and I am offended at being called a liar.

marcymajor
01-13-2008, 05:59 PM
i got that same survey and that same message and last week and it really ticked me off - who are they to say that i am not honest about my age or any other information i am giving them - i'm 54 and proud of it so why would i lie about that or anything else. as you said, my time is definitely worth more than a lousy 70 cents so unless otx changes their survey practices they can kiss my participation goodbye.:cooldance:

01-13-2008, 07:31 PM
Please keep this in mind per Tricia

PLEASE keep in mind that OTX is not saying that anyone is lying about their age intentionally. There is a glitch in their system right now such that if you have not yet had a birthday in 2008, it thinks that you are off by a year. It is not a judgment thing. It is strictly an error in their database that we have been seeing consistently since January 1 and I have not been able to find anyone to fix.

cglaura
01-13-2008, 07:35 PM
There is a problem w/ the OTX they are trying to fix. Basically your age is 2008 minus the year you were born, regardless of what month. Doesn't make it better that your time was wasted, I know, but they are not intentionally trying to deceive. The data gets dumped for unqualified surveys, so it was a waste of their time also.

Edit: Darnitall Catherine, you did it again LOL. I think I just type too slow :rotfl:

i understand what you are saying - i guess i am just so very frustrated that no matter how hard i try to qualify for an otx survey most of the time i get booted out by not qualifying or something or i get the thank you page but for some reason i don't get paid for the surveys i have completed. i hope you can see that i was just venting as i needed to get those things off my chest.

Silly me. I did the OTX survey on cars today. Got all the way through, then forgot to add a year to my age. I know better and I understand the problem. However, I guess I wasn't awake yet.:( So of course I got the standard "dishonest" message, and now it won't let me retry. Frustrating!

Forgive me if this has been answered, but the thread is over 200 pages long and I'm going crosseyed from trying to find an answer.

I know that if we're having trouble qualifying for a survey, we can get another household member to log in and try. I've been getting DH to do surveys when I don't qualify. But can he repeat a survey that I've already done? So far, I've been keeping a list of the surveys that each of us has completed and if we get a survey that looks like the other one has done, we back out and try to qualify for another one. Am I doing this unneccessarily? It sure would be nice to not have to drop doing a survey if I don't have to but I don't want to do anything that is against the rules.

Thanks for the help. And again, sorry if this has already been addressed.

I just completed a survey to join an online community panel for an upscale women's apparel company. At the end of the survey, i was directed to a home page for "Opinion Surveys"

This is the beginning of the link but I didn't want to post it all because it has my email address in it...

It stinks that they have a completed survey and I won't receive any credit. GRRRRRRR. :computer:

P.S. - looks like the same survey as posted in #52 a week ago. When I go to the SR Daily Surveys page, I am not getting the "exceeded" message so I'm going to continue with another survey. From the previous posts, it doesn't look like I'll get credit for this one but I don't want to do anything "fraudulent."

The link is at the bottom of the SR daily survey page under the green box you click on to take the survey. Greenfield can contact polling point to fix the survey.

Its really just dependant on how many surveys are loaded on greenfield that are looking for your demographics. Sorry but you can't really do anything about it but wait it out until they load up new surveys.

Changing up your demographics is considered fraudulent activity by both Greenfield and SR and has led to bannation of some members a few months ago so please don't try that route. Greenfield has ways to track this. How I don't know but it has happened.

What I would suggest is that if you have other people living in your household is to have them try doing a survey with their demographics and personal email. Sometimes people who are different from you (ie male, older, younger) will be able to qualify for surveys that you can't.

This thread will explain why we are all experiencing a shortage on surveys.

I too am having a difficult time this month just qualifying for a survey. My solution - get DH to take a survey. We usually fall into the same age bracket but I say that just because he gets to check that "male" button is why he gets accepted. DH doesn't really like to take surveys but I just bug him to he gives in.

So this fraudulent activity - what about if a day or two you accidentally clicked on a different income and didn't realize it; or one of the others, like schooling? If this happens once or twice, do they still consider it fraudulent activity and kick you out? Or are they looking for some sort of pattern over a few days or weeks? I'm not asking this because I have been doing this sort of thing; I'm asking because I know I have clicked on a different item than I meant to a time or two and didn't get it corrected before I hit start survey in time; I don't want to find myself out in the cold because of it!

Same here, sometimes It's just habit to click and go through the same ol same ol questions and before I realize it once In a while I've gone up or down one bracket (mostly for income or age but the bracket isn' tusually that big of difference from what I've seen)

I hope that doesn't cause any problems.

Yeah, especially today I have had problems - should have taken a nap & tylenol instead of trying to do a survey!LOL I kept getting refused and kept trying again and after a trying a couple different email addys realized I was mixing my addresses up and clicking wrong brackets. OUCH!!! So I just gave up on today, and hope I can still squeeze 25 in.

I know this thread is for the daily surveys, but OTX is pretty much a daily survey now, too...and I just wanted to say --WOW! I just got a survey on an acessory store and it took less than 3 minutes! Thankfully I went there to buy some headbands recently so I qualified! woohoo! (definitely makes up for the 25 min one I had earlier today, got all the way through, and then it said I wasn't honest in one of my answers! I wanted to :computer: )

Its if they are noticing a pattern not if you do it accidently once or twice. Like I said I don't know all the ins and outs of it. I just remember that when surveys started getting cracked down on a few months ago a few people were found to be doing surveys fraudulently (ie wrong demographics, multiple surveys a day for an extended period of time) which Greenfield reported to SR and after an investigation of their account they were relieved of their SR participation duties.

Guys we aren't trying to scare you at all but there are alot of lurkers and such around here that read the boards. Based on some things that are said/asked people can piece together ways to circumvent the rules which we don't want because it hurts us all. So alot of the responses you see are for that reason not to scare you. As long as you follow the rules established by Tricia (and posted in the stickies) you will be ok.

Honestly and without meaning to offend anyone but we are all adults here and we need to start taking responsibility for what answers we are giving on ANY survey or offer we do. I understand that mistakes happen but there really isn't a reason for them to. When you enter your information make sure to read the questions carefully and answer truthfully. These survey places are paying us for truthful information. I am quite sure that the companies are using this information to make marketing and product decisions. With that in mind they are paying for truthful information and that is what we need to give them. Otherwise we are committing fraud whether they catch it or not. What the point Catherine was trying to make is that you can't change YOUR demographics to try to fit a survey. You can however have another family member who may fit that demographic take the survey with THEIR information. So you can't suddenly become 20 instead of 40. Is it a huge issue? No but we should all be taking things a little slower and making sure we are giving true and correct information on ANY offer. This keeps SR, us and the advertisers happy and it also keeps all of you earning money. Hope this makes sense.

Oh yes, it makes sense, thank you. I do apologize for the moments of carelessness on my part - I do get in a hurry to get thru the demographics page sometimes and as the saying goes haste makes waste. So now that I have been duly frightened I might lose my SR privileges if I'm not careful enough I shall be more than careful! No more demographics errors for me.
This site was an awesome find for me and I don't want to mess it up, and hopefully haven't.

Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?? I have only 2 options to choose, I don't qualify for either, and if I do get an I agree to respond in an honest manner, then I get the next page saying sorry you do not qualify. Or I get an Internal Error page. What does THAT mean?
All of a sudden surveys have dried up for me. So no big bonuses for me this month now I guess.
And no I doubt I can get my DH to put his demographics in, even tho they would be vastly different than mine, and he could probably do a lot of these IT surveys for me - he just wouldn't have the patience to do it! He sort of rolls his eyes at me spending my time doing them!!:rotfl:

I have been doing surveys for a while, and once in a while DH helps out by doing a survey. Well today (after I cleared cookies) I had to put in all my info again. So, is that for the income that I soley make or our household income that WE make?

Nope I'm with you too. I'm aiming for the 20 surveys this month level which isn't looking too good either but anything is better than nothing in my book.

Are you making sure to do the daily OTX survey through the My Thoughts Count offer? That is 70 cents as well and they seem to have a good selection of surveys as well. Not a lot of people realize its a survey so I just wanted to throw it out there.

I am always consistent with my survey info, but when I try to put info in for my husband or my daughter, I always use my email addy. My husband doesn't want any junk generated on his (I'm lucky if he'll do the survey for me!) and my daughters is very limited on what it will accept. It never occured to me that 3 different demograpics on the same addy could be considered fraudulent. They are consistently the same 3 sets of info.

lanny76
01-23-2008, 09:59 AM
From what I gather, unless you're always the same on your demographics this isn't good. But if you've been doing that a while they don't seem to have tagged your account as fraudulent - maybe because you have been consistent in the different demographics sets. Who knows - there are many people on here better qualified than I to answer your post, and I don't want to be thought presumptious!!! At this point though for myself I'd feel safer using a different set of demographics with the address of the person they belong to.
I also want to clarify something. After I post about making some mistakes on my demographics, here I am feeling small after getting scolded for it and smaller yet after others post about how consistent and careful they are. I would like to point out that actually I HAVE been fairly consistent for over 2 months, except for 2 bad days this month last week that I know I had when I was actually sick with nasty headaches and exhausted - when I did get more in a desperate hurry to get a survey and get thru! Those days I didn't catch my errors very well. Other days, I was certainly more careful about catching any errors or typos in my demographics. And now I shall certainly be the model of consistency - and maybe not be so stubborn about trying to get surveys when I'm not feeling well.
Forgive me this too long post.

What I do is I have a gmail account set up where the address without a dot in it is for Mike to complete surveys through with his demographics and another variation of that email address with a dot for my demographics. 2 "separate" emails for 2 separate people and its not hard to keep track of. Might be something to think about if you are worried.

Anyway, I went ahead and tried with a different email addy and got one - so I hope that was OK.

Because I knew I had not actually gotten a survey completed, I did try again.

Ok, the same wierd thing that happened to me 2 days ago just happened again. I was taking a survey that was about joining an online focus group. It told me after a bunch a ?s that I didn't fit what they were looking for and kicked me out. I was sent to the take another survey page, but when I clicked that then I got the exceeded daily limit message again!!!
The other day I went ahead and took a survey again because I thought I hadn't really done one and why would I get credit for one I got kicked out of?? But then I got 2 credits!!
So now, with a different survey, I get the same sort of thing. And now I am hesitant to try another survey, because I am afraid I'll get 2 credits again - and that would make 4 times this month, which is just beyond reasonable. So I am not sure what to make of this!!
I guess if it said that I exceeded the daily limit, that means I'll get credit? I sure didn't get any congratulations page though.

I would say that if you started the day withOUT the exceed limit page, but then got it after getting booted out then your going to get credit for the survey if you keep getting an exceeded limit page now.

That's just my opinion, and from what happened in the past is probably a good indication that you'll still get credit.

Took me a bit to get your abbreviation there! But thanks - I think that you are probly right. Nothing like getting paid for getting booted, I guess!! Might be the first times I've gotten paid for NOT qualifying for something - guess I won't quibble.:rotfl:

This is exactly what happened to me this evening so I'm hoping I get the credit. It would make 31 and if I don't get the credit, I'm going to cry. I've worked hard all month.

I think you probably will - if I got the double credit the first time, I am thinking that probably somehow the one I got kicked out this time will credit too, and for you too. It is really weird - and weirder still to have it happen 2x in the same week; and the surveys weren't even the same, similar but still different. So yeah I think somehow it credits in that case - why I couldn't imagine!!

I just finished a long survey on yogurts. It actually told me that I was almost finished, asked for some info for classification purposes and after answering those questions, it took me back to the SR "Sorry you did not qualify" screen.

Couldn't they have asked all those "qualification" questions BEFORE I wasted 20 minutes answering every question in their survey???? :computer:

Please remember that if they say you "do not qualify" at the end, it usually actually means that you did not pass their quality control test. It is not really that you did not meet their classifications. The biggest culprit in this is taking the surveys faster than what they think they should be taken in. Our best advice is to take them slowly...multitasking even if you are a fast reader or survey taker.

Thanks Tricia! What about when the OTX ones have you go through the whole survey, and then at the end say you answered dishonestly? I have had that happen twice, and I went through the survey VERY slowly and answered everything with the utmost sincerity. I just couldn't figure out what I did wrong. Do you have any idea why that is happening?

I got this several times today, but right at the beginning, after I carefully read the message about honestly and carefully answering the questions in the survey. I try never to click the continue button too soon, because I don't want them to think I haven't read the message even though I have seen it a gajillion times now, yet sometimes this happens where I am taken to you do not qualify for any surveys today page. This happened to me 4 times in a row today! Now why on earth is that??!! And also, I got one where it told me to remember a certain number for later in the survey, so I took time to write it down, and was taken to the you do not qualify page!
And I tend to go fast - I know it, so I have purposefully slowed down when doing surveys, but how slow do I have to be??? 2 minutes per page or more?

Read the OTX thread, it explains it all there. Basically you need to put the AGE you WILL be in 08, so if your bday isn't until April you still need to say I'm 34 instead of 34 in April. Make sense?

I got the same one this morning. I don't know what a T1 line is (sorry), but I have a cable connection and a fairly fast computer. It took me about 20 minutes to complete this survey, much of the time being the downloads. I actually enjoyed the survey, however, so I didn't feel it was a waste of time. Had it taken me an hour, however, I'd be very grumpy.

Well, I'm comforted to see that I'm not the only one that had issues with the yogurt survey. I really think that there must be something just wrong with it for so many of us to be tossed out at the very end.

On another note, did anyone get booted from an appliance survey today? I'd gotten to the part that said I'd qualified and then when it was supposed to begin loading the ads, I got sent back to the SR page instead. It wasn't as frustrating as the yogurt survey because I hadn't invested nearly as much time into it, but I'm wondering why it would say "you've been accepted" and then booted me out. I was v-e-r-y s-l-o-w with my answers (even read thru things twice), so I don't think that I answered too quickly. And I'm always truthful with my responses.

But I got my survey for the day right afterwards, so I guess that's all that matters in the long run.

Oh, I so wish that I had checked this thread before trying a survey today!! I rarely even try anymore, because it really has been such a waste of my time since I so rarely get in.

So I figured I'd give it a shot today because I have a little time, and I thought since it is still the beginning of the month that I woulu maybe have more luck.

i felt myself very lucky to get into a survey on the second try, and you guessed it, it was about yogurt!!! AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!! I wish I hadn't bothered! I really like yogurt, and I take the surveys seriously....so I want through the whole thing really taking my time, as I always do, then 20-25 min later I get bumped out to the do not qualify page after answering that I am caucasion, like many others, it seems.

I am really furious at the moment! While the surveys can be a great way to make credits on SR, I think I have to just give up at this point, because I just end up mad every time, and it's not worth the increase in my blood pressure just for the $.80!

By the way, this is in no way a vent against SR in any way....I LOVE SR, but I am sick of these survey companies who take advantage of us "willing" participants just trying to ake a buck!:computer:

FWIW, I don't think that the survey site retains our data when we get dumped out like that. Until we hit the submit button, I think that the responses just stay in limbo. I'm not angry with them because I don't think that they got what they were after either. My frustration is soley directed at the amount of time that I spent for nothing - no 80 cents for me, no data for the survey group and no money for SR.

i just finished the daily survery. i went all the way thru it. (this was not to see if i qualified, it was the actual survey) so any way i do the survey and it says i have finished the survery and thank you, blah blah.

anyway to make the story short, i get back to the sr page, it says it does appear that you did not qualify for the survey. any thoughts on this?

i know i took the real survey, this is not like the otx where you spent 15 minutes answering questions and then they tell you, you don't qualify. this was the survey. is this normal?

i will admit, it is very upsetting, to finally get qualified and complete the survey, and to find out that i won't even get credit for it.

No - at first of course I just thought I had done something wrong - but now I mean, really, have we ALL done something so wrong? In that case, it seems as if there's hardly anything most could do right with this one!
And in this case, what could Greenfield do about if it is just that the survey decides it doesn't like us and says we don't qualify? Besides remove the survey if it is kicking everyone out!

Point is that we DID the survey and finished it but did NOT get credit. Yes, we should complain to greenfield and no there wasn't the button to report the problem because after the surevy was finished it took you to the you don't qualify page. BUT it did this to everyone and it was not a short survey. It's frustrating

Just did about a 20 minute survey about banking/financial services. Got all the way to the end and got a page that said "Sorry, this survey is undergoing revisions and is not available right now. Please check back later." or something similar. There wasn't anywhere to report the problem. :computer: Beware!

Ugh...I had the same issues with the yogurt survey and the appliance survery. I finished the whole yogurt one and when I got back to the page, it told me I didn't qualify. And even more annoying is that the whole time I was doing the survery, I was arguing with dh about how it is worth my time for 80 cents! LOL! I did not tell him I was booted! Truthfully, those two issues were more annoying than more normal state of not qualifying for anything!

i totally empathize with all of you this morning. i have been trying since early this morning to get a survey and i got booted out of the appliance survey but did complete one on financial services companies (join their community) and instead of taking me back to sr it took me to opionion surveys main home page so no credit for that one either. if i can't get a daily survey today i cant do a sm survey either as you have to get a daily survey first before you can qualify for the other one. this day has been horrible for surveys and it's all greenfields fault. ugh.:computer:

I just did the yogurt one too (didn't check here first b/c it is more confusing now that there is not a Surveys To Avoid thread).

I don't feel that doing a very long (20 minutes!!) survey and then being asked to enter the classification questions at the end and then being told that you don't qualify is fair or legitimate. :computer:

It was my understanding that Greenfield would not be doing that anymore b/c it is not fair to ask someone to take a survey and then ask the classification questions AT THE END and then kick them out.

I am very angry about this one and I did report it and expect a credit from Greenfield. It's hard enough to get surveys right now and I don't appreciate getting ripped off for one I did do. :(

***Sorry for the venting, just short on time as it is this morning and really upset that this kind of thing is still happening with Greenfield. :(

According to Greenfield, if you get kicked out after the classification questions, it is NOT really the classification questions that disqualified you but rather that you did not pass their quality control. 90% of the time, it means that you just didn't take as long to do it as they thought that you should. Greenfield will NOT give us any credits for surveys that do not pass the quality control. The only time that Greenfield will even consider giving us credits is if there was a technical error at the end of a survey that prevented you from being sent back to SR.

Tricia, I hate to be a pest but I really don't feel like that was the situation on this one. I took my time (20 minutes or so), answered all questions completely, and did the quality controls (putting in the 3's when told to for security purposes).

I take my time on the surveys and make sure to do them right b/c I don't want to waste my time doing a whole survey just to be told it doesn't count.

It kind of hurts my feelings when Greenfield takes that stance b/c I've been doing the surveys for close to a year now and I know how to do them correctly. It's kind of insulting that they have a problem survey and then say it must be our fault b/c we must have made some kind of mistake. :(

Just something maybe you could mention to them b/c I know we've had this come up on few before and I really don't believe that we are all somehow messing up on certain surveys.

As always thanks for listening and offering any help.

I have a hard time believing that NO ONE has passed the quality control for the yogurt survey. How could it be that ALL of us failed their quality tests? I agree that there are times that I may have answered too quickly and have gotten kicked out. When this happens, I seem to get the 'no surveys' message, not the 'Thank you but you don't qualify' message. I really think something else is going on with this particular survey.

I have to agree. I was a little more than frustrated to sit through almost a half hour of answering questions, all the while thinking I would get credit, only to find out that I didn't qualify. Huh?!

I won't be hard pressed to try anymore surveys. No thanks. :(

I have to agree. I tried this one again this AM as it came up for the SM survey and really really took my time and gave thorough, thoughtful answers. And for the race question I chose "other" vs. caucasion to see if that made a difference. Still got the "thanks for your time but you do not qualify." UGH! SOOO not fair -- stay away from this survey!

I have to agree here that it is UNREASONABLE to think that we all blew through this yogurt survey and NONE of us passed their quality control. I too paid attention and read every question and put all 3's in the row where it was requested. They may want to look at this particular survey and reconsider their idea of time. Personally I think that when you get to the end and are told you have finished the survey and are thanked then that indicates you should be getting credit for your anwswers. It is frustrating and does make you re-think taking the surveys.

The bonus at the end of the month is nice but you do have to ask yourself how far you are willing to go for .80 - 1.00

I too have a hard time with *all* off us flunking the quality control. The first time I did the survey, i was talking to DH, going back and forth between the survey and another webpage- it seriously took me about 45 minutes to complete the entire thing, if not longer. When DH took it, it took him a good 20-25 minutes.

I REALLY do understand, BUT I have to agree I must have spent over 30 mins on this survey I read the forum, took care of the kids in between etc, I know what they expect and I really am a fast reader so I've had to force myself to slow down and do other things. But for over 2 doz people not to qualify when we do have all different qualifications to enter, and we took anywhere from 15-35 or more mins to do it, I really think it's some error on their end.

Believe me I'm over it, I moved on got another survey all is good, BUT I do not think that this was a typical issue that we've come across before. Do they expec the survey to take an hour? That's the only legit reason I can come up with. I too answered honestly as always, put the "for security use 3 in this row" etc.

I'm not expecting credit for it, but they do need to be made aware that there is something wrong with this survey, I just can't accept that so many of us "failed" the qualitry control for taking it.

I agree - this appears to be a highly unusual situation/survey. I think I got past the race question, and was kicked out after I answered the employment question. I know I took over 20 minutes on this which appears to me to be a reasonable amount of time to spend on a survey which was quite simple really. I have done similar surveys in the same amount of time - like the one I did following this - and was able to get credit. So - no, it is more than us all failing the quality control - it is that the quality control/expectations seem to be unreasonable on this one, or something else.
Also I didn't get an answer on why I would get sent to the no surveys available page several times after merely taking my time to read/answer the message that I will be honest in taking the survey. I want to know how I am failing the quality control in that instance!!

That I can't answer only that it has happened to me a lot and I'm sure it happens to everyone, the only thing I can guess is that they start off with a certain amount of survey's and you may enter into it just as a few are finishing up and therefore the quota is met before you even get a chance to get in. That happens frequently enough that it doesn't suprise me.

I have to agree. I did take my time with the survey and I followed all the "survey" rules. I've gotten 6 surveys from 1/1 through today and have gotten several others that took way too long to "qualify" me - ie the appliance survey. Way too many of us too way too much time for that to happen and I don't buy Greenfield's explanation. Not mad at SR but I haven't been doing as many surveys as I don't have time to waste getting kicked out after 20 min. Disappointing!!!

It's quite possible that they do have the yogurt one set at 60 minutes. I think the company doing the survey gets to decide how long they expect the survey to take...not Greenfield.

The bad news is that I lost my contact at Greenfield. She just up and moved to a different part of the company two weeks ago (after assuring me she wasn't going anywhere). I do have a new contact, but I don't know how she is going to deal with issues like this....including whether she will even take credit requests from me like the last contact did. We had a really great relationship with the other woman.

Believe me, it ticks me off, too, that we are not getting credit for these. The majority of my paycheck comes from daily surveys. So when you get screwed, I get screwed times about 100. I wish that we could take a more hard lined approach with them to threaten them to make them pay us. But the end result could be that they just cut off our surveys altogether. :(

It wouldn't suprise me if that's what they were expecting (60 mins), it was a lengthy survey.

I'm sorry to hear you lost your contact, I remember hearing that it was a pretty good relationship you had with her.
That's why I wasn't too upset with not qualifying, I was merely saying something had to be up with the survey for all of us to not get it. I'm really sorry to hear that the contact at Greenfield was lost :( I hope this new one works out to be a good one.

I would hope though that if a survey is supposed to take an hour (for 80 cents??!!!), Greenfield would be kind enough to note that at the beginning of the survey. I know that I certainly would have chosen to exit the survey instead of spending 20+ minutes taking it just to be told it doesn't count.

Certainly we must send a substantial amount of business their way and I would like to think that they appreciate our contributions and the money that they make off of us. I would hope that they don't consider Sunshine Rewards as just a "user" that they would cut off at any time if we ask them to treat us fairly.

The other thing to consider is the negative impact these surveys have on Sunshine Rewards. People that are new to the surveys are very discouraged by encountering these types of problems and will likely not bother with the surveys. I myself really have to think twice about trying a survey everyday when I encounter these kind of surveys - it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I trust SR and know that it has nothing to do with the site, the problem is on Greenfield's end - but would a newbie know that?? Just something to consider.

This is one of my gripes too. GF is upset b/c we weren't following their "rules" but at the same time we have a HUGE thread in the forum and all it consists of is daily surveys to avoid! So while they may get upset that we aren't following their rules, how acceptable is it of their company to "qualify" us for surveys, waste 30 minutes or so of our time and then kick us out b/c suddenly we don't "qualify." This really ticks me off.
