I sure do. I got an SSI1 yesterday and had no luck on SSI2. I gave up and cleared my cookied at 11pm. (its 12 in survey world so I start on the next days surveys). I took a DS and M2C last night and SSI this morning and it credited SSI2.

The only thing I can think of is I believe some people had a similar problem wihen SSI 2 started. They would try for the second one, not get it, then go and try for SSI the next day without clearing cookies first. So, to be sure I understand you correctly, you're saying that you clearned cookies AFTER you were done with your SSI 2 attempts, but BEFORE starting on today's SSI and surveys? All I can come up with is that maybe you still had a cookie on there? Do you use CCleaner? I run that 3-4 times to get eveyrthing when I run it.

I am 100% sure that I cleared cookies both times this has happened. I clear them every night at 11 pm and start all over again with my DS. I dont try for them again until I complete the others, unless the others are not available. I have always had bad luck with these....lots of non credits ect so I kind of put them off. It may just be the survey cycle, but I have not been getting GF surveys like I did before the page change. I think others have said that also. I was getting them once a day for nearly a month and now only one since last Thursday. Confused.

I'm still getting that same language after not qualifying for a survey too - there are no surveys for you....and yes, it's been taking me back to the days when this meant that they thot you had done something fraudulent in the course of the survey! So I've been wondering what's up. It looks weird with that join Toluna banner as well. It also feels more like pulling teeth to get a survey the last few days too, for me.......My account may look like I'm not taking advantage of all the survey opportunities available, but really, I AM trying, I just am not in luck these days!

Before, when you didn't qualify, it would take you back to the options you could check, so you could just go right to another survey. Now, if you don't qualify you have to click back to the survey page and go back into the GF page. Some surveys are just too long. Some surveys want us to answer 10 pages and have the percentage bar only move a few points over. Some surveys just ask for a bit too much of our time. (and I get far too few of the "5 questions and you're done" surveys to convince my brain that it evens out, LOL)

Not complaining (did enough of that to DS LOL), I'm just sayin'. :)

Little FYI...if you're getting into an SSI and it wants you to install something, and then says that you have to restart firefox...if you have your settings so that your cookies etc will be erased when you close firefox...you're not going to be able to continue with that survey. Which is a bummer, b/c it felt like it was going to be interesting! (so much so that I allowed the install, which I never EVER do!)

I'm confused by what you're saying. Whe I go in thru the link from SR, I first see two pages of demographic information. I fill that out. Sometimes, it asks me generic qualifying questions, like with the DS where you have the checkboxes. Sometimes it just takes me to the page that says
We have a survey for you.
This survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

I enter the "I am not a robot" image in (you know, the one with the letters and numbers first?), click next, and start the survey. If I don't qualify, I've been able to get credit by trying for the next one they offer, and so on.

When you get credit, SH should first take you to a yellow-ish page that says thank you for completing this survey, then automatically take you back to SR. The credit should be in your account when you are routed back, as SH credits instantly.

Aside from entering my demographic info, I don't think I've ever had to sign up with survey head or confirm an account.

I just tried SH again. First time I clicked on it, I got the SH regisitration page. Which is what I've always gotten. Clicked out of it.

Went back in again, and got the page that you are talking about-the yellowish page with the demographic info. Filled that out. Got the "routing to survey page" which then routed straight back here to the SR/SH page. I'm assuming that means that they have nothing for me.

At least I know what to look for now. Will keep trying.

UGH! Exact same thing just happened to me! It was very long over 45 minutes. I did get a completion message and said I could get so many myview points. I haven't done surveys in a while. This does not make me want to keep trying.

The percentages are just a little bit lower than usual but the biggest difference is that we are not seeing nearly as many people even attempting them right now. So it's hard to get a good reading.

I am missing Saturday too. Strange 3 of us are missing the same day. Maybe we will still get it. Sometimes some DS will credit later than the others after the weekend, just not this late usually. It is RARE to have these not credit. My Survey went through normally also. I dont think these will count towards the contest because it just started today...is that right?

Just want to say, I took the fasted Survey Head survey ever.
It was 2 pages, and it went to the "Thanks for completing the survey page" and then back to SR. It went to those 2 pages so fast, I actually was dumbfounded. I thought it meant "no survey's with Survey Head. I went and looked at the credit and there it was. Those short survey's, sure make up for the 45 minute surveys.

They have a new format, once you entered your information they don't ask you those questions anymore they just say "you have qualified for a survey" or "this is embarassing, we have no surveys for you"

My problem with AMP is they start me in a survey and ask a select group of questions then say "sorry you did not qualify for this survey" then I click on try another and they ask the same group of questions again, and it is a huge cycle. Eventually they will jump onto a new topic and I actually get the survey.....has this happened to anyone else?

That always happens to me and it makes me doubt that I'll get a survey, and makes me wonder if I'm wasting my time. I don't understand their qualifying process at all. Lately, I've been getting a page that gives lots of definitions for categories, then I never see them mentioned again when I'm qualifying with 10 other unrelated questions. I keep trying though since sometimes I do get something before I give up and the pay out is good.

I know people have already given you advice about cookies, and if that hasn't worked I'm not sure what to say. Are you submitting the survey evaluation at the end of the each survey (ie the star page)? After you submit that you should get the gray the blue screen that says something like Thanks for taking a survey. We have more for you. And there will be a get more surveys button.

I always click on the more surveys button, but don't actually click to get into the next survey. I don't know if it helps with crediting, but I always do it just in case.

Also, I don't know if this actually helps or not but I do not close my browser after I've completed a survey that credits on cookies (so everything except DS). I have actually left my browser open at work over a weekend to make sure I get credit :o I started doing this when I noticed that I wasn't getting credit for some surveys if I immediately closed everything and left my computer.

Also, I've seen people mention they have problems if they take surveys on laptops or over a wireless connection. I haven't personally had this problem, and I have done both. Every computer I have at home has a wireless connection.

And just in case anyone else is reading this for advice on their SSI surveys, after you complete your SSI you have to wait until it credits before you can clear your cookies to try for the SSI2. If you clear your cookies before a survey credits you will interrupt the crediting process and not get credit.

I know some of this seems silly, but hopefully some of these silly things help you get credit :sunshine:

Still relatively new but-I haven't ever clicked on the "try a new survey button" with either SSI or SSI2.

However, I do leave that browser page up until I get the "your session is about to time out" message. And definitely, before I try another SSI(or 2) whichever-I always make sure to check back in on my account page to see if the other has credited. Then I clean cookies. It makes the survey process long(getting thru all of them) but I haven't had a problem with crediting-except with AMP.

Re: AMP-I always saw the page that the PP is referring to-until they went to the new qualifying process. Now, I either get "this is embarrassing" or "you have pre-qualified" message. And, yes, in my limited experience, if something isn't going to credit, it's gonna be AMP-which is a stinker because they tend to be so long. I do a lil happy chair dance, when I see that AMP has credited:blush:-but that could just be me!

Try leaving that page open, the Thanks for completing this survey, click here to try others, either in a different browser or tab rather than closing it. I do that for all the surveys, including the DS (until it times out) and usually don't have too many problems. Both SSI and SSI 2 should credit within a few hours. There were some people who found that if they took those two surveys too close together, it didn't work, so you might try taking a break for a few hours in between.

Weird MV today. When I click on the link for MV, it asks me the demographic information like usual. Then it says 'congratulations' we have a survey for you. Then it goes on to say that if I complete the study all the way thru I will receive *** MV points once I join their panel.

Weird MV today. When I click on the link for MV, it asks me the demographic information like usual. Then it says 'congratulations' we have a survey for you. Then it goes on to say that if I complete the study all the way thru I will receive *** MV points once I join their panel.

I think they also credit after noon sometimes. I wouldn't lose hope yet.

The holiday credit you saw was Wednesday's survey counting. Since Wednesday's survey doesn't credit until Thursday, then Thursday night the holiday credits update and sees your new survey credit. So it actually takes two days from when you take a DS for you to see the holiday credit. Make sense?

I just had something wierd happen with a GF daily survey just now. It was one of those where you have to download the keynote connector and analyze web sites. I finished it, got the congrats page then it went back to the SR page that said you have completed the survey but then all of a sudden the pages that had been open with the survey all went dead and I closed them all and when I clicked in the SR link I was no longer logged on!

If one of those is from yesterday, today is Saturday, so they won't credit until sometime Monday.All surveys from Friday, Saturday and Sunday will credit on Monday, or the next day if Monday is a holiday. :sunshine:

The good news is, that survey *should* credit eventually since it was one that didn't take you back to the SR page. It just might be a while. At some point in the future, you might see two survey credits for a day and you only took one--that's the second one.

I know it's frustrating. If it was a different survey, you could try to check your settings. Since it's the DS, those track by user ID, so I'm not sure there's much you can do. I know it doesn't help, but it's happened to me before too....just usually not twice in a week.

Thanks for the info. I really hope this is the case, since it just happened again! I completed the GF and it said "Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and opinions! Your answers have been received and this survey is now completed." But, it didn't route me back to the SR page.

SH is an instant credit so if it hasn't credited yet, it won't. did it route you back to SR after you joined the panel? I don't know which one you just did, but I've done the panel survey's and they do credit when it goes back to SR like it is supposed to.

Not it wasn't, but I've had that one before too! Luckily there was another survey waiting for me, so I'm happy now! :rotfl: I always take my time with surveys and put a lot of thought into my answers, so when things like that happen it drives me up a wall. Thanks for commiserating with me :hugs:

I just spent 20 minutes on a MTC survey intended for me and my son. I answered my part then I got him on to do his. It kicked him out after 3 questions. One of my favorite things about this thread, is I come on here to post a question or concern, and several of you have already posted:) Makes me feel better that I'm not alone-my GF from Sunday hasn't posted either.

Also, just completed a GF about sustainable products, got to the end "thank you" page-and it DIDN'T come back to the SR yellow page-so I'm not holding my breath, that I'll get credit for that one tomorrow. And that was the only one(GF) that had ANYTHING for me this morning. :eek: So, I'll run errands and clean house, and try again later.

40+ minutes later and a whole 30% into it, got a persistent and seemingly "fatal" error that won't let up.

I don't know what they are really called, but it's basically a giant power strip that also has battery backup in a few of the plugs. My CPU and monitor are plugged in so in case of a temporary power outage, I have about 30 minutes of battery to let me finish what I'm doing. Everything else I plug into the regular surge protection on it. We have these on all computers at home and at work.

Survey credits are about one-third to one-half of what I normally see this holiday weekend, so I think you are right. I think most companies closed starting on Wednesday so we haven't seen new surveys since Tuesday. Hopefully a lot of them will load tomorrow so we can still end the month strong.

I've always figured that is just like the surveys that are full when I'm routed to them. They just haven't worked themselves out of the system. Honestly, I'm thankful when that happens because it means I didn't have to spend time on anything to find out I don't qualify ;)

I just got kicked out of a DS from a fast food restaurant. I answered all the questions (survey and demographic) and got a thank you page within the survey, but when I clicked to submit, I got the Toluna It appears you did not qualify page. I'm not sure if one of my answers triggered that (although I got the survey thank you page) or if it is a routing issue, but just a heads up to everyone else to watch out for it.

:computer::computer::computer:SSI(2) is doing it to me again!

First, I took the SSI. Then, after it credited, I cleared my cookies, both on my browser and with CCleaner. I waited another half-hour and took the SSI(2) and completed it. (Got to the "star" page for the evaluation)
I left my browser open (didn't even close the tab from the survey) and waited....and waited...and waited...three hours and no credit. So, I cleared my cookies again and tried another one. I completed that one too and left my browser open....still waiting...

If I weren't so obsessed with getting all 7 surveys, I wouldn't even be trying that SSI(2). No matter what I do, it seems that it only credits 1 out of every 10 times I complete it. I don't really mind when it was a 5 minute survey, but the two I did today were both over 30 minutes long.

ETA: The third time was the charm! I completed another one and it credited within the hour. I guess I will just have keep trying them until they actually credit.

Rough day survey wise

-SH-finshed-but didn't route back here to SR-and never received credit;

SSI(2)-got an error message part way thru-no way backwards or forwards;

M02-completed to the end(got the thank you page from the survey itself) but when I clicked -got the "sorry you didn't qualify" message from M02:confused:

Geez...but I was able to complete(and credit-fingers crossed for GF tomorrow) four...

Did you get that yellowish page first before being routed back? Sometimes they'll send you back to SR they decide you don't qualify.

And I know why I did it too...the last survey I completed and had to credit yesterday on 12/2 was MV. So I looked at my account history and saw yesterday's credit and mistook it for today's.

Venting....no credit for an AMP-again:computer:. That hasn't happened in about a month....shoot. Got the "thanks" page; left it up until it timed out-survey had no issues. And I know it wasn't a 24 hour thing because I hadn't qualified for one since Monday.

Darn, because those are so long, it's especially a bummer-and no holiday bonus credit either.

Same thing happened to me. A few mintues later I went into GF and completed a survey. From time to time I do notice that subsequent times when I go into GF or Y2C I have to enter my demos again.

Got into the survey, completed it all the way through the end with the classifying info and then got the page that says I don't qualify:computer: I obviously qualified - got name brands and potential products to survey. Each one was about 25 minutes long.

In just the past few days, have had a DS (about auto tv ads) that would never let me click "yes" when asked if I could view the video so after several commercials, kicked me out. Had an SSI today regarding casual dining that wouldn't add correctly no matter what I did, and just now had a DS regarding speakers that got all the way to the end and then got that technical error message. Very frustrating!!

I am following all the advice I find here. Anything else? Is there something we can do? Thanks!!!!

Welcome!

The DS is the only one you can report errors to. These are technical errors, like the survey somehow broke in the middle (your one about videos sounds like that if it would not let you answer yes), rather than the "I spent xxx time on this survey and it kicked me out at the end" errors. The latter is not an error--it's generally some kind of quality control issue, like maybe you missed one of the questions you were supposed to answer a specific way or were going too fast or they felt you were being inconsistent.

If you go to the DS page, the link to report errors is below the green Greenfield box. I always open another tab to report errors, as you will need the info from the last page of the survey to describe the problem and give them the link to the problem survey. If you report a genuine technical issue, they can try to fix it only if you report it on that form, not if you complain about it in the forum. Not qualifying though, is not a technical issue.

I have reported errors with DS to GF and used to get credit always, but in the last 45 days. I know I have reported several and have never heard anything from them. I think they have changed hands.

My BIGGEST survey frustration/problem started with OTX and seems to be sneaking into all other surveys. They ask the same questions over and over.... meaning I try to start a survey ask a ton of questions about one subject such as: either about the type of car I drive (make, model, gas, oil, etc), or if I have a child (gender, age, race, availabilty to take survey), or makeup (types, do I wear, 25 different feelings about make-up etc) and after I answer a bunch of questions on any one of those subjects I get screened out, THEN when I try again it goes through all the same questions again. I can go through this routine as many as 5 - 10 times before I either Finally get a survey or get so frustrated I quit trying. I like the surveys and try to attempt them all each day but this new repetitive routine is making me crazy. It started with one company but I am seeing it pop up with others. Maybe I have just taken too many surveys....

MdCaterer-when i read your post about reporting errors to gf i looked back in my history and i haven't seen any credit for those since the end of august. u r right about some surveys asking the same questions over and over again but what i don't understand is when you go thru 6 or seven pages of qualifying questions and then they tell you they have no surveys available. maybe i too have taken too many surveys and they just ran out of surveys with my demos. i still keep plugging away as i do enjoy taking surveys and that's how i make the bulk of my money on sr.

The channel guide turned out to be sixteen pages long and in full color, and I ended up not needing it for the survey. I wasted a lot of printer ink since I didn't realize it would be so long - I should have been printing in draft mode.

Yes, I got that one earlier today as well and had the same problem. I was able to exit, clear my cookies and get another survery to do without a problem.

I just got that one, but I was able to complete it and get the star page. Maybe they fixed it. I'll know at 10:00 if it credits.

i have a question and i hope it doesn't sound too stupid. i did my ds earlier this morning and got the congrats page and b4 i had a chance to delete the cookies we lost power. when the power finally came back on and i went into my temp internet files to delete my cookies, the cookies from my ds were totally gone. i know that the ds does not track by cookies but by user id so do you think i am safe in assuming that this should credit tomorrow or should i try for another one. if anyone has any insight into this it would be greatly appreciated. :thanks:

the only trouble i had with GF this morning was that it was loading really slow, but i was able to complete a DS. however, yesterday, i tried many times to do a SH and i kept getting routed to a survey page with about 20 different languages on it, telling me the survey was closed. i was sent to it over and over, until i finally gave up and tried amp instead.
