I take it GF no longer reimburses (or whatever word you want to use for it) for surveys with technical errors? I just took one that thanked me for completing and then told me I didn't qualify......it's hard for me to qualify for many surveys these days (and takes more time than I seem to have patience for right now, also :p) and it's a bit annoying to have this happen. When GF would give credit for things like that in the past, it helped alleviate the annoyance of lost time! Oh well.......(sorry, I hardly post much these days and then I show up griping when I do. :rolleyes: )

The exact same thing just happened to me too today! I felt as if the survey was "completed," as it was in the final demographic questions, then it thanks me for participating but says my profile wasn't what they were looking for today. This was a white page.

Then I decided to try another GF since I assumed I wouldn't get credit for the other one. Basically same thing again, as it seemed to be completed but then I got the normal yellow & blue sorry you don't qualify page, click here to take another. Unfortunately, I don't have time to try another one today.

Not sure what's up with all that. I wasn't rushing or anything. Oh well, I shall try again tomorrow and hope for better luck!

Spent an hour on DS/GF surveys. I completed 5 surveys and was told "sorry you do not qualify". :mad: One of them was 25 minutes long. I have never taken any of these surveys before. And now there no more DS which seems to be the case quite often recently.

I have a full time job and can't spend an hour completing survey after survey and not get credit for even one. Never had this happen like this with GF all at one time.

I have been averaging about 63 surveys a month. This month I have gotten 21, so I am down about 10 surveys compared to last month. :(

I wonder if the negative economy has hit the survey industry. Or have they just run out of surveys for a 57 year old, white woman, with an advanced education with no small children at home, who doesn't read magazines, drink alcohol, or has not purchased a space ship this week.:rotfl:

I have taken a similiar survey on that subject. I was kind of hesitant to answer intimate questions like that but ended up deciding to do it. Completed it and at the end see "sorry you don't qualify". When you answer questions like that it sure seems like you should at least get credit for the survey. :rolleyes:

I just had it happen to me again with the 2cents survey, where I completed it, then got the "sorry" message. I have been a member for awhile now and have had it to happen occasionally over that time span, and I do realize that stuff happens. But now all of a sudden it has occurred to me several times in just this one week! Is there something up with GF, am I doing something wrong now, or is it just the luck of the draw for me this week lol?! On the Samplicious survey, I was getting the error message this morning. I used ccleaner and was able to complete a survey and it credited on the hour.

I have been trying to get to Samplicious today. Every time I click on the link it takes me to a page where I see a bunch of little circles that are moving in a bigger circle. Then it goes to a screen where it says "internet explorer cannot display the webpage". I have tried clearing cookies and that has not made any difference I still keep getting the error message. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

Thanks Marcy, at least I know it's just me. I have cleared cookies using 3 methods: using internet options, ccleaner and using my Norton 360 software. Still getting error message. I did get the right screen yesterday when I attempted but didn't qualify for a survey.

just did my ds from gf today and on the demos page is the little box saying i wish to participate in toluna surveys. if you don't check the box, a red statement comes up saying you have to check the box or you won't be able to get into a survey. just thought i would let everyone know that this box is back.

Marcy, try AMP again. They made me reenter my demos, probably because I noticed they changed a few things on their end. Fine by me! My work status changed a few weeks ago to part time from unemployed, so I think that might be why I'd been having more trouble with them.

Two days in a row now I've been lucky enough to get both of the SSI surveys, clearing cookies after the first credits but both days the second survey has not credited for me....is anyone else having a crediting problem with SSI, I never did until the past couple of days. It had been several hours between the two as I couldn't get the second survey right away. Don't think that's the problem in my case? Strange that all of a sudden I'm having problems where I didn't before.

That's what I do too and no problems here.

Was there maybe an automatic update that came through and modified your settings somehow? I'm stumped as to why you would suddenly be having problems.

I don't know if it makes a difference but after every software update I check the list of cookie exceptions in my browsers and check to be sure that the ones for SR surveys are still there. If not, I copy and paste the URL's in again.

i don't mean to sound like i am complaining (and i apologize if it comes across that way) but i still can't get into amp or samplicio surveys. amp keeps coming up with a white page saying either done on the bottom or error on page and samplicio says that i have clicked on an invalid link. nothing has changed on my computer as i have managed to get other surveys (and they have credited) so i do not understand why this is happening to me again.:confused: i clear cookies, reboot my computer and i still can't do either one of these. what am i doing wrong? if someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. :thanks:

Marcy, I just had the same thing come up for AMP, just a blank white page. I'm not going to worry about it for now, but I am also not going to be able to try for surveys tomorrow or Monday morning. I a thinking with amp, since we all had to do the demographics again, that they are doing a system upgrade. Could be they are trying like GF to make it harder, than it already is to get through a survey. Makes sense when you think about it.

I don't do an amp survey all the time, but this morning I tried the long survey. You could see it was trying to load, but then went to the white screen. After repeated tries, I just clicked on the shorter version and had no problems whatsoever, finished and got credit. Don't know if it was luck or not, but I DO think amp is having loading problems.

i think i am beginning to get a complex about surveys.:rotfl: mv keeps sending me to the log in page, sh sends me to amp (which i close out of immediately), amp is still not loading and samplicio is telling me that i don't qualify for any of their surveys at this time even though i haven't done one in almost a week. on the bright side i have gotten a ds, sm, ssi1 and ssi2 this morning so i am happy about that. now if i can just get at least one or two more that would be great. if not, that's okay too as i am totally satisfied with the 4 i have gotten so far today. if someone could sprinkle a little survey pixie dust my way that would be greatly appreciated. just got a mv and it has already credited. woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I opened a TT about this problem and Tricia said she has been sending them messages, and will send one again today. The problem is definitely noticed on her end. I guess we'll all just have to sit tight and wait for Tricia to get it resolved. HTH

The last time I was able to take both of them on the same day, my second one never credited either and I cleared cookies between them. No idea why as as I never had any trouble in the past getting both to credit. Now I'm getting that white page with both of them as many of us are, so I can't even try to take one.

I just had an error on a DS. It was a survey for a moisturizing product that requires watching several commercials, then re-watching the one of interest and one other (I'm sure you all know the kind I am talking about). I was evaluating the commercial of interest and received a message that the survey was now closed when I was about 15 minutes into it. I had already evaluated the commercial for several questions - I wasn't immediately directed to a closed survey - it apparently closed while I was doing it. I didn't get the Do Not Qualify page and didn't miss a QC question. :computer:

I was getting that message A LOT when the survey was first offered, but a few days afterward, it stopped and I haven't gotten that message since. I've only qualified for 2 surveys since they started, but at least now I get a message saying I don't qualify rather than that error message. Sorry I can't be of more help, but on my end, it just went away on it's own after awhile. Just keep trying it????

finally got a sh this afternoon, spent over 30 minutes on it and when i went to submit it a page came up saying ie cannot display the webpage. it was on alcohol and it was thru one specific survey company that it happens all the time to me. i have hit refresh a lot to get it to go back to the thank you page and nothing happens - it just sits there saying connecting. oh well, you win some you lose some. guess i just won't get a sh today.

no :( and it routed to the correct SH page, the one that thanks you for your time and says "we know your time is valuable" but when it routed back to SR, there was no credit. SH has ALWAYS credited for me, so i was pretty shocked. it was an interesting survey too-about hair color. i've just started coloring my hair recently, so i was tickled to get the survey. figures i get no credit, lol.

ETA: tricia, it JUST credited in the few minutes between my post and now, so maybe there was a glitch that made it credit on the hour instead? that's never happened to me before. as i said, SH always credits for me immediately. odd, but hey, take it where you can get it!

marcy, back years ago, when i was working in a law office, my monitor would occasionally go black for a few seconds, but then come back on. eventually, it went black and stayed that way-just up and died. sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but that's what happened to me. however, like i said, it happened eventually-it took about a year to die. the boss was not happy, but you can't use a computer without a monitor, lol.

Just finished a long SH survey about car buying. It actually went through GF, got to the end of the keynote survey, hit the button to finish and it said it could not find the page! I am crossing my fingers that the credit will show up. I know I was not booted for demographics or anything else. I answered all questions and was thanked for completing but it did not go back to the SH crediting page

lol, exactly :D i don't think it will affect your survey. as i said, my monitor took about a year to actually die, so, if you can, i'd wait until a tax free weekend or a black friday sale to replace it.

Just a heads up-MV has glitch/error message, whatever.

Says 5-6 minutes max, says that it will ask for a phone number just to verify that you actually took the survey; then asks which four products are you thinking about purchasing in the next 6 mo-a facial cleansing system, a heart rate monitor and two others. Survey is entitled "what will $30 get you" .Clicking along, no issues, then click "survey apache tomcat error" black and white screen. No way around it that I could figure out. *****UPDATE: just checked my account balance and that MV DID credit. So, don't worry if you get that survey(I guess).

I think you put this in the survey thread by mistake.

The short answer to your question is, it depends. Some merchants take longer than others. Some of them don't credit till your item ships (did that happen yet?) But yes, there will be a credit hold, but the pending credit should show up in your account history, but it might be back a page or two. Generally speaking, it will be dated the day of the purchase or the date it shipped.

If nothing shows up as pending after about a week, you can file a trouble ticket. I'd give it about a week from the date it ships just in case.

What is the merchant in question? Someone else might be able to give you better information then.

No, they haven't corrected themselves. I'm still getting loads of 'technical difficulties' and 'problems with our server' type messages. I've managed to get 4 surveys since 2/11 at this point - I'm spending hours trying to get what I have been able to get. I just keep trying, hoping they fix their issues eventually.

Took DS and it was fine. Completed SM and instead of the usual confirmation page, it said sorry they were having technical difficulties. I will still wait to see if it credits. You can try another. If you end up getting credit for both it won't hurt anything as long as you don't do it often.

I was able to get into SSI2 without a white page. They offered me a survey then once in said I didn't qualify( I wasn't even given a question). No nothing available. But it did work.

Yep, they won't let you take another one until the 24 hours are up. As far as I'm aware, the current message they show you if it's too early yet to take one is something like "well this is embarassing...." So you can just keep trying if you don't remember the time and once that time has passed they'll let you try to qualify again. Hope that helps :)

If you can't read the letters, there is an option to change the words/letters - it's the arrows (one pointing up and one pointing down).

I did like the other way better - these letters are harder to read. :confused:

I couldn't read the first word this morning when I tried but the second word was pretty clear. I just gave it my best shot at the first word as to what I thought the letters may have vaguely resembled :rotfl: and it took me into a survey. I know there's no way I could have had the exact letters, so maybe they're just looking to see that you're getting most of them right and you're not a computer...

I didn't actually qualify for the survey, so I'll give it a try later and see if the same thing happens if I try that again.

Sampilicious reminds me of how My View used to be when I started taking surveys last September. I never qualified for My View. I just considered there to be 6 surveys instead of 7. That is how hard it was to get a My View. Then all of the sudden, My View became very user friendly. Hoping the same thing will happen with Samplicious. It would be great!!!

be careful......that survey about technology at work is floating around again......the one where you complete the 1st part about what technology you use at work and then they ask you to download a tracker on your work computer. There is a question earlier that asks if you are able to download at work. I clicked no but it continues on and asks you to do it anyway. :computer:

Surveyhead has just been bugging me the last week. I have finished a couple of surveys that did not receive credit. Then I have have gotten to the end of a couple of surveys, only to have it tell me that I did not qualify after about 20 minutes. You need to clear cookies between the two SSI surveys after the first one credits, they track by cookies. The 2 cents surveys also track with cookies and you need to clear cookies here too if you took one the day before, it thinks you already took one for today so it won't credit.

Best thing to do is clear cookies first thing in the morning and again between the two SSI surveys but wait for the first SSI survey to credit before clearing and you should be good to go!! HTH, let us know if you have any problems after doing this and someone will try to help. :D

You should be getting credit for all surveys if you are clearing cookies before starting to take any of them first thing in the morning and then again between the two SSI's after the first one credits, I have no idea what else to tell you to do or try. Maybe someone else can chime in with ideas. Sorry. :confused:

The only other thing I can think of besides clearing cookies is some people have found they don't get credit for SSI 2 if they take it too close to the first SSI. I try to give it at least a few hours in between.

Generally, you should try for the Greenfield DS and SSI before trying for Give us your two cents or SSI 2, just because they're worth more and come from the same pool of surveys.

What browser are you using? I can try to help you with your settings to see if that might be the issue, but that's all I can think of right now.

It sounds like (and I may be interpreting incorrectly) you tried SSI 2 first, and when it didn't credit you cleared cookies, took an SSI, and got credit for an SSI. Is that right? You should take an SSI first - if you can't get anything with regular SSI, don't try SSI 2. Since you're only having trouble with surveys available twice, it may be the order you're taking them in.

Do you complete a Greenfield before you try 2 Cents? I've never tried to do a 2 cents before a Greenfield, so I don't know if that might be causing some problems.

I have had problems with SSI 2 crediting for me in the past, so I always try others before it. Try leaving the screen that says "You completed the survey" up for a few minutes, and do not close your browser before it credits. Also, if you complete a survey with SSI or SSI 2 and don't get that star review page at the end, it won't credit.

It's hard to diagnose what might be going on, so my suggestions are just a shot in the dark. Hope some of it helps!

You need to clear between successfully completing the SSI's and also if you tried for an SSI 2 and didn't get one (otherwise the SSI will credit at 0.50 instead of 0.60.) If you're already doing that, then I'm not sure.

No, I take my time when filling out the answers. I do the entire survey(s) including the demo questions at the end, click and when it goes go back to the GF/SM page it says I do not qualify. This happens to me with Y2C way more than any other survey, but not to the extent it has happened this week. Seems like from comments other people are posting that it is not just me having this problem with these specific surveys.

I don't have any helpful tips, but please remember the confidentiality statement in most surveys and SR rules mean not to name the brands mentioned. You need to give a generic descritpion instead.

Are you waiting to clear cookies until AFTER your first SSI credits? That's the only thing I can think of. You can certainly take both the SSI and SSI2 on the same day. I usually do the first one, wait til it credits, then clear cookies and usually will try for the SSI2 later in the day then depending on how much time I have...

Other than that, sounds like you're doing everything right, hope you start getting them soon!

I've had problems in the past with getting the second to credit and this is what I've been doing lately with no problems so far.....

Clear cookies first thing in the morning
Try SSI, DON'T click on SSI2 at all until you get an SSI survey and it credits.
Clear cookies again and try for SSI2

I think the problems have to do with clicking back and forth between the two until you get one...try this and see what happens.

I might have just done the same SSI. Click at the end expecting to see the SSI page with 2 rows of stars and instead get this error:

I had this survey last night. I meant to post here, but forgot.

When I was asked "Do you want to join?" after I had already agreed to the terms, I said no. These kinds of surveys seem to never route back properly, and I didn't want to sign up for something for no reason. I was hoping I would get credit anyway, but I got the "you don't qualify, try another" page.

I just took 2 seperate surveys and was also asked to "join" their community. When I declined, I was told that I did not qualify for the survey and did not receive credit for it. This seems so unfair especially when I completed the survey, they got all of their answers from me, and then do not credit me for the survey! FRUSTRATED!!!!!! Two in a row, maybe it is time to take a break from the survey thing!

I got that one this morning too, declined joining and then got the boot. I've still gotten credit for other ones that I declined but this one you needed to join I guess to possibly get the credit...I agree, not right when you had to go through the whole survey first. :(

Yay-not the only one. Same deal yesterday with the cheese panel. And, yes, I even joined but never got credit.

I just had another SSI with a panel sign up. I signed up and it routed back to a star page like it should. It credited on the hour.

(This was a completely different one than the cheese one that didn't work yesterday/today)

I got the SSI cheese one, did the whole survey, joined the panel, confirmed the email and was not rerouted back anywhere. It just said thank you. No credit.

for some reason for the last 3 days i have not been able to get a mv. it lets me start a survey and about halfway thru it then says it is full and redirects to another survey which also says it is full. then it starts to redirect to another survey and instead of going to the survey it goes to the page that says that they have no surveys available. oh well, you win some you lose some. guess i must have taken all the mv's there are to take.:rotfl: maybe they will add some new surveys as the day goes on and i can try again later. if not, that's okay too. good luck everyone in getting your surveys today.:sunshine:

Just did a Amp/MyThoughtCounts survey about TV watching. It asked about joining a panel. I agreed cause I figured I won't get credit other wise...got the congratulation.

Then did a greenfield this morning it was the sleep aid one. Did all the stuff took a good 30 min then it said not qualified...

Something is wrong with the sleep aid survey - several of us have also not qualified after completing the survey. Did your AMP survey credit OK?
